It might finally be coming after so many rumours. :)

I know it's available on so many formats now, and I've got the Sega Mega Drive Collection on the PS2 but I know I'll end up buying this anyhow if it's 800pts or less. :embarassed:

I've got it on the Xbox 360 already as part of the Sonic Collection, and on the PSP as part of the Mega Drive Collection, so I doubt I'll buy it if it's released. Still, it's a classic that almost everyone needs to own in one way or the other.

It was actually in an early Live Arcade promo video thing, and never seen of again since. I've been hoping it would actually show though, as I'd defo get it again - even better if it was Sonic 2 with co-op over live.

I wondered if they were having licensing issues though - aren't nintendo trying to get it on virtual console?

It's already on, I bought it ;)

Wont buy the 360 version, would be good if they could release Sonic 2/3/Knuckles though :)

I keep reading there's a 'backlog' of arcade games MS wont to clear through the summer - I believe them:

That'll be awesome if it's 4 player over Live (which you'd expect). Lets just hope the achievements are actually obtainable, unlike the retail game :p

The original Bomberman kicks ass on so many levels, a 4-player Xbox Live game would be fantastic :D

Ecco?! We got it on VC, and remembered how much patience you need for it. Not sure I could stomach it as a purchase.

Yeah I don't think I'll buy it, it drove me insane years ago on the megadrive :D
I'm praying to the Sega God they stick Streets of Rage 2 on but I bet they don't :p
