Namely, a BBC radio 'listen again' stream. Any ideas how I'd go about capturing that to a file?

[edit] The RPM is here:

RA is here:

Hmm, isn't there a plugin for Firefox that allows one to capture anything which is streamed to the local drive? Once done it should be simple to just convert.

If there is I don't know about it. Google-fu it is!

heh, I'll just re-install the app when I get home and set it going. I've offer to send it to you to use yourself but sadly it only runs on PPC :p well actually it will run on Intel, but you need a Mac :D

here you are. Ripped straight to mp3. By a mac ;) I'd send you the program for future use but it only works - on a mac :p

You seem to be suggesting that, perhaps, one might need a mac. Am I interpreting this correctly? :p

Of course, there is more than one mac owner on this forum. :)

For the sensible people without a mac there is http://www.hidownload.com/. I've used it in the past and have a serial number for an older version if anyone is interested.

I know. There's me and leo for starters ;)
And me, and I believe Burble has one too. I'm sure there are others (petemc?). :)

I use Streamdown or Hidownload to ge the RA files and then usually use Super to convert them if I want them on my MP3 player.

Otherwise I just leave them as plain RA files.
