On a related note, I managed a whole 15 minutes of this film before I turned it off due to how unbelievably poop it was - not since the royal family have I just not understood how it was funny. Utter tripe!

Yes it is. I'm making myself watch it as most people I've spoken to seem to think that it's amazing. On a similar note I watched Apocalypse Now the other day and that wasn't THAT good...it was ok though.

It's basically a film about a tard and his friends...that's it really. I'm forcing myself to watch it just incase the last 5 minutes is any good, although I doubt it.

Napolean Dynamite was one of those films I saw and thought 'WTF? where was the funny?', mainly because it wasn't what I was expecting. Then I watched it again and it was hilarious. I think originally I was thinking about it too much and kind of wincing at how pathetic the characters lives are.

But watching an hour and a half of geeks being lame for a 5 minute laugh isn't my idea of a good film!

Spammer! Napoleon's dance at the end of the film was funny, but that was it. I thought Scarface was ok but not amazing.
