A few friends have got The Darkness and seem to be obsessed with it, so might be worth a go :)
Overlord's meant to be good but there's a demo of that so I'd recommend trying it first to see if it's your kind of thing!
Don;'t know much about the other two I'm afraid.

well to be honest I hated the demo for the last one :( twas pants I'm afraid!!

Vampire Rain could be interesting as it seems to be a mix between splinter cell and rainbox 6 :)

Vampire Rain has been battered in some reviews (I've seen a 2.9 and a 3 :/) so at least worth avoiding for now. The Darkness is getting a good response, but it looks like a stop gap until Bioshock for me. Overlord is something I really really want, love the humour. Tenchu wont be bad but I guess you have to really be into the franchise to jump at it.

also why have you not posted in my race meet thread, do I smell? :'(

I now only play Forza, all my other games are in the freecycle thread (along with a 360 wheel)

I'm busy at the weekend :(

Might go with Overload, haven't played the demo but I feel the need for some retail therapy.

The Darkness looks like my kind of game. First-person shooty type thing + supernatural powers. Might wait until I've got a few more acheivements on the games I already have first though.

Call of Juarez and The Darkness are the big two, both seem very popular amongst lots of people on my friends list.

Played the Overlord demo yesterday and love it :)

Will have a look at The Darkness but I'm not sure I want a traditional FPS.

From what I've read I don't think The Darkness is a traditional FPS.

No it isn't :D

Traded a few games yesterday and bought both The Darkness and Overlord, I put The Darkness in the 360 first and it hasn't been out since.

Its a very cool game and although I suspect it will be quite short and the multiplayer will suck mightly the single player campaign is wicked. It reminds me of a mix of Vampire the Masqerade and Max Pain, highly recomended, I'm going to play it through and then trade it quickly but its really really fun :)

Seems a lot of people have overlooked Call of Juarez, which is odd cause it looks better than both The Darkness and Overlord imo.

Has anyone bought it? If I only had the money to buy one it would definitely be CoJ...

I'm not a big fan of the western genre, although this looks pretty good, I might consider it when I trade in The Darkness.

I should hopefully get CoJ on rental from Swapgame sent tonight and arrive Wednesday. It's 1st in my rental queue, so if I get it I'll let you know how it is :).
