Seeing as there are plenty of us 360 users here, I've added a new feature that let's you add your Xbox Live GamerTag to your profile and then lists everyone in a ranking page.

But that's not why I thought it was handy. The good thing is, every body is listed on one page, along with links so you can easily add somebody to your friends list.
The details are updated every 10 minutes so you might not appear on the list straight away.

Just got to your UserCP, Edit Profile, then scroll to the bottom of the page and add in your GamerTag.

To view the ranking page, click the link below.
http://www.boat-drinks.co.uk/gxboxlive.php

There is also a link in the header next to Gallery and Chatbox.

Done it. I expect to be at the bottom for the foreseeable future!

To me, it's not really about the ranking, it's about getting all of our details in one easy to use place :)

What makes reputation go up (or down)?

Desmo

Think it's only affected by feedack people leave for you. It's in the frinds list somewhere.

Playing online will creep your rep up, preferring a player or positive feedback isnt a prerequisite of high rep I dont think. The blurb under rep says "x% of players preferred or did not submit a review about you, while y% of players avoided you with the following reasons"

Heh, hover your cursor over a gamerpic and it fetches the actual Gamercard. Impressive.

What about me ;).Woooo, I have (some form of) a proper rival :p

Guess I need to start playing again, been slacking lately.

Damn you've jumped up in points, thought you were quite close to me. When I get my Xbox back fixed I'll have to make a proper effort to get somewhere close to you two :p

I've just joined you at the bottom :D

I really should play more but I'm still not comfortable with the controller and tend to use the 360 for playing poker and sticking to the PC for FPS games. I'm sure if I played it more often, I'd get used to the controller but I don't have the patience to do it just now (things have been kinda hectic lately and spare time is usually spent chillin' rather than forcing myself to do stuff). I will get round to it one day.

Stan :)

Added myself, i never seem to play single player long enough to get any points :).

If you have the urge for points and your PC can handle it, we could try Shadowrun on your PC? Not sure how it'll work activation wise but worth a shot perhaps/

Just amended this. The Quick Link has now been removed, but you can now access the XBL page by using the button in the header.
This button will only be accessible if you are in the computer forums.

Isn't it Vista only? I'm still running XP here, and my hardware is a couple of years old so it will probably complain a bit.

Daz

Ah yes, forgot about that :embarassed:

Davey_Pitch

It'll be a few months before I move onto a Vista PC I think, I'll be getting a new PC when we move into the new house and may well get Vista on it (or at least dual boot with XP if it's possible).

When I get my Xbox back I should hopefully have about a week of uninterupted gaming time, so I hope I can catch you up a bit. Will have to make sure I've got some of the easy 1000's to hand to get through them quickly :D

Indeed! I'm looking at finishing some of my older games such as Crackdown, Oblivion and Ghost Recon (1). Not completed any of those yet, so those are my main ones. I also really want to get Vegas, Splinter Cell and Hitman done.

No easy points there :(.

Davey_Pitch

Hitman isn't too hard I don't think. I've got about 600-odd points and could finish it off if I had the time and inclination to do so. After playing each mission several times though it does get a bit dull so I'll be waiting a while before trying to finish it off :)

Oblivion is a very easy 1000, it's all storyline and guild based. The only problem is the time it'll take to do it, easily 30-40 hours I reckon to do all of the guild quests and main storyline.

The kids have got some more arcade games to play now so I'm sure there'll be a good few points coming my way!

The achievement and points system is a fantastic thing for a console, I really believe that MS have got the online thing absolutely spot on with Live and the 360.

It's what they do best Feek.....software.

Daz

True dat. The achievement system will really pay this generation. People have a reason to chose the 360 over any other platform for those games that come out on several. As daft as it probably sounds to a non-gamer, it's for the achievement points.

They've done a lot of community things well so far. Publishing your live data for other sites/applications to use, the Forza site, the Halo 3 site - they've really made a great package with the console and service.

Indeed, I remember reading reports before the 360 was out and journalists couldn't wrap their heads around the purpose of Achievement points.

It not turns out that it's genius, a simple addictive system of giving you visual (the key element here - you want people to see what you have 'achieved' in games) credit reference for goals and tasks completed in game. Not only is it addictive simply getting more and more points, but it's also a brilliant way of knowing just how far a game is from completion, or when it's completly completed.

It could well be one of the biggest revolutions in modern day gaming and it's definitely improved game sales, I know lots of people who have bought more games, or even games from genre's they aren't usually affiliated with purely to get more points.

I'm not home for another 3 1/2 weeks, so not much I can do about it.
