Well, this afternoon I delivered the cobra to its new owner and collected my new toy.

Only these two shots for now, as I plan on spending tomorrow giving it a full wash and care treatment!
Will post more about it later on when I get time away from 2 small children
Woah :D Lookin' good!
My brother's brother in law has a '68 mustang, 3 speed manual apparently, is that rare?
He's stateside, so slightly more common over there I guess!

Looks frickin' sweet dude :)
I'd love an old muscle car especially a 67 Camaro SS
Nice! Early one isn't it, '64 or a '65?

its a 65, 3.2 straight6
pretty much all of it is original. a few little niggles with the body, bu nothing that cant be sorted.
need to look all over the car, to check all the authentic bits.
oooooooofff !! :D :D
Shotgun!
Infact just a sound clip of that being given some serious beans would make me happy. Anything planned to be done to it mechanically or are you going to keep it as per original spec?
edit: Damn I didn't realise you were getting rid of the cobra, one of my all time favs. Alas it'll be a few years before I could afford one of those :(
Burble's going to be so jealous! :D
Awesome car! I loved the 4.0 we took out in SF  You're going to have fun with that! ;)

Heh, needs a nice polish, which I shall be doing today weather permitting.
Then I am going to find the VIN number and chassis plates, decode them, and see whats what.
The Big engine will be a winter job, if thats the way this car goes. (other problem with the Big engine, is one of my friends wants it for his Daytona Cobra. and it would suit his car better.)
Its slow and does not quite have the V8 sound, but its nice to drive at the moment, so I am just gonna enjoy it for a few months.
Ha! Just spotted the ad in Custom Car ;D
Didn't have to go to far to get it then :D
It's a posing car really, not one you really want to rag around that much - well if you get the V8 in place, it'll launch that little bit quicker... ;) But it's all about croozing and looking cool - and by heck that'll do it, especially with a nice burble - but you'll need the V8 for ultimate posability ;)

That car was born the same year as me
Lovely motor but i would spray it Flame red or summit or Daytona yellow.
I could do with you posting a soundbite of you revving the Bejesus out of it as well. It may not be the biggun but it'll still make me do a sex wee :)

Very very cool but it looks like the garage door is going to be a bit of a bugger to close.

Heh, isn't this pretty much exactly what I said? ;)
I would leave it all original. The VIN plate will be on the driver's door. The ID plate that tells you what was what from the factory will be on the radiator support cross member, or on the firewall.
You do realise how jealous I am, right? To have a car that nice is beyond reason for me. Besides the cost factor, it just isn't practical living out here. Between the dirt road I live on, the salt on the roads in the winter, and the bugs in the air during summer, it would never look as good as it's supposed to. My truck looks like it was a prop in some B-rated movie about a locust invasion or something. Can barely see out the windshield. And I only cleaned it two days ago!!
But I will live vicariously through you, ok? :p
Is this the same one we saw when you picked me up from the train station? I seem to remember it going round a roundabout in front of us?
Does this not mean that you now need a name change?

In theory yea, I guess so.
But I like my FakeSnake ;)
RealHorse doesn't quite have the same ring to it, sounds more like something you get when you have a bad cold :)
