Gamescore whores/Creature I'm looking at you :p

I've signed up to a gamerscore league off x360a whereby each team has 4 members and 3 months to get the biggest increase.
Somehow despite it being my first league, they made me captain ;D

Anyhow, just sorting out a plan of action for me. We're capped at 1500pts a week each though.
I've also got the problem of not much money so I've got to rent a lot but currently I'm planning on going through this lot in that time, not strictly for 1k in all, but just a decent chunk of points.

I do get rather organised with these things, I was the same with Counterstrike, used to spend far too long planning out tactics. I think it's a competitiveness that I could never use in real sports because I'm crap at them all ;D

Gun - Easy apart from Hard and Insane, which are moderate

Eragon - Piece of cake, but repetitive

It's not hard, just tedious. Far worse than X-Men imo, however the Iceman levels are more tedious than FF2.

Well for the first week of the challenge I've managed to reach 1,500pts with a day and a half to go which isn't bad going. Wasn't exactly gaming obsessively either :)
I've worked out with the games I own and the ones borrowed from Davey, I have about 10k available to me relatively simply (Although some are time consuming or need co-op help), plus throw on the rental games and I should be able to keep up the pace.
Does of course depend on other time constraints like job, dissertation and the flicker of a social life :p

I am being somewhat sad and planning some easy points for the days after the cottage meet as I'll have Wednesday evening to Sunday lunchtime to make up for the few days I've missed. I like to call it dedication rather than being sad though :p
Just have to hope I don't burn out.

As I just saw you play it, do you know the simple way of getting 10 consecutive wins in Hearts?
Delete your cache to lose the latest update and play offline then at any point where you know you're not going to win, press the guide button and quit to the dashboard before the game ends.
Easy 40pts then :D

Same also works for Backgammon, though if you go for the 100 games jimmy then you'll get the 10 and 25 consecutive on the way!

Backgammon is a dead easy 200 if you have someone to trade online for 30 mins or so. Should have them all in an hour :)

Hahahahahaha. The first thing I did was put Guitar Hero in and try Dead on Expert. Not only did I manage to complete it despite 6 weeks without playing, I somehow managed to get my best ever score on Expert ;D

Oh, it's also a new console. Mine was an original Nov 2005 console, but this one was made in Oct 2006, and judging from the fact I had to set everything up again, I'm guessing it's completely new rather than a refurb (hopefully, I know they could have wiped the memory).

Heh, I just got new high scores on both Sweet Child O' Mine, and Heart Shaped Box, first go. So I decided I'd have a go at Freya in career and see if I can get past the bugger that had me stumped.

Unfortunately, I still suck at it :D I got further than I've previously managed though, but it can wait for another time. I've got more games calling me and nowhere near enough time to play them. :D

I had a read in a FM2006 forum and found out that if you turn off the console for up to about 20-30 seconds after saving, it hasn't actually finished saving despite it saying it has!
Just an annoying game bug.

After spending a night and half a day, I managed to regain my losses :)
