4 Original Almera 16" alloys with 4 month old dunlop sport. Scuffed a fair bit possibly (doesn't bother me a helluva a lot mind).

I'm currently part way through getting my car looking normal again, spray and touch ups will be happening before people laugh ;D

Some alloys would look nice on it, and atm its in serious need for two new front tyres, rears will be on their way soon (6months + depending on how much i drive). I need wheel balancing and tracking anything over 70 isn't shakingly scary at present :p.

Now i've been quoted £95 by a garage for two new tyres balancing and tracking and replacing pads. They will probably go for around £200 i suspect, which means for the extra £100 i would get 4 alloy wheels and two new tyres, and i can do the pads while the wheels are off anyways... All i would have to pay for is tracking (which apparently is ok according to my dad but it does pull left ever so slightly).

What do you guys think? I've got an hour to decide :D

To be honest, no not really. You can get some great value Alloys at Hellfrauds these days.

As for tracking, you need to get it done even if its perfect on one set of wheels as another set can make it go out. I have to have it done when I swap between my summer wheels and my winter wheels.

Im assuming the garage price was quoted with you supplying the pads?

Yeah pads are here, i just though since theyre arsing around with the wheels they can do em too...

I know i can get cheap halfrauds alloys, but i was trying to be inkeeping with the Almera styling using the alloys designed for it. That worked out to £55 an alloy and dunlop sport, i'm paying about £45 a cheapie tyre tomorrow, tracking is technicall free on offer but the tyres are at an inflated price!
