**** **** **** ****!!!!

Please god they can contain this, otherwise it's going to be catastrophic for the farms/smallholdings who somehow managed to survive it last time :(

Really hope its caught in time, a lot of animals have been shut inside though. I remember going through Lower Woodford (near Amesbury) past the farmer that always walked his cows. They all had to go :(

A lot of the family friends lost everything when that hit. Luckily my grandad changed to grain/wheat growing as he didn't like where the market was going a few years back. The masons are very active around there, using the group was the only way that some of them recovered (unofficially)

Gordon Brown must be wondering what's going to go wrong next. It's the farmers that'll bear the brunt if it gets out of course, so I hope they do find where it came from quickly. :(

Hopefully they will contain this quickly. As i live on the greenbelt there are quite a few farms around here, it was awful last time. :(

So now there's a complete block on all livestock movement in the UK, I hope it helps.

I called out to Mrs. Feek last night after seeing this "there's been a new outbreak of foot and mouth in the UK". She replied "You'd better put some cream on it". bless.

The government have reacted pretty quickly IMO. The decision to suspend livestock movement was made quickly and the exclusion zones soon followed.

Let's hope it's enough to nip it in the bud.

Busy start for Gordon eh?

Interesting development, looks like a possible leak from a local Laboratory.
