This evening I had to do some work round at my brother's place.... Whilst he may be on Holiday then this had to be done...
As such then my little sister was flat-sitting (well, cat-sitting), and told me about an awesome mini series she had watched on Virgin on Demand... The title, if you weren't paying attention, is the same as this thread :)
Anyhoo, being the big brother what I am then I said to her that I had seen it when it was first broadcast (in 2000) and that from what I remember it looked like one of the estates I have cameras on...
So I get home and have me a look...
As I remembered then it is a frigging awesome drama (and anyone who has access to it should watch it) but more than that, it's set on an estate where I have 35+ cameras!
For those that would like to know then it's the Rowley Way Estate, more commonly known as the Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate, and after having been used in many TV programs, and being a listed bulding (/me wretches) there have been many complaints by residents about it being shown in a bad light (Source (http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-941979-details/Oh+no,+not+another+feature+film/article.do)) despite it being (as I know only too well) a ****hole :/
Anyway, well worth watching and stars John Sim :)
