Big arguements in the Huddy household last night.

Take-a-away on dad! woot!!

However, it took us an hour to decide between : Idian, Chinese, Pizza and KFC (yukk).. Md's was not an option hehe

So what would you choose?

PS I put my foot down and got an Indian ( Although she doesn't say much :D )

However, I'd normally go for Chinese but we've had so many recently I'm a bit tired of them.

Tai is too posh to call it take-a-away. Instead they call it "Private Residential Gourmet" :p

Chinese is the one for us :)

Chinese is the usual one but since moving 3 months ago we have yet to find a good Chinese :( so are stuck with pizza which can start to get rather boring

Out of all of those Indian would always win :) Rarely have Chinese as I'm not overly keen, KFC, BLEUGH! Not a massive pizza fan either although we've found a takeaway that does pretty good pizzas now. My absolute fave is Thai though, but I need to be flush and I need to be arsed to go and fetch it. I don't have it often!! :D

I'm reeeeally mean, the kids don't get takeaway 99% of the time, I get it once they're in bed. If we do have Chinese we go to the buffet place in town which they think is a mahoosive treat :)

blimmy, I wish it was a treat in our house. Seems to be coming a habit to be honest. :(

Which Chiese do you go to ?

Oh I forgot the British favourite Fish 'n' Chips - Can't add this to the poll :(

The one upstairs on Baddow Road (or is it Mousham Street?)...near the cinema, I can't remember what it's called.

Ah, we DO have fish and chips! Not often mind, still a treat :) From Writtle, the BEST f&c in the area! YUM!!

I can't choose as i will have them all depending on how i feel or how close they are or who is best in my manor.

Well as there is no Thai option :p I guess it would be chinese (cantonese).

Wehey one vote for KFC

Though I have to say I'd choose my local chicken place over actual KFC because it's a lot less greasy :D

I just have too much choice, don't even need to cross the street to get to a Thai, Indian or Chip Shop. Then there is a Kebab/Pizza House, Chinese, Cantonese, 2 other Indians, another chip shop and a Pub that does food to take out all within 3 minutes walk of my front door.

Tonight though it's a Thai :D

Excellent choice Mubs! I'm very jealous, I'd live on it given half a chance. I wonder if you can get Thai Bridegrooms....*ponders*

Indian or Pizza, only because I see Chinese meals every weekend and it's not as appealing as it used to.

Generally I prefer Chinese as takeaway, for some reason I'm not keen on takeaway indian, prefer to sit in.

However, my ideal answer would be a bit of each :embarassed:

I can understand that.

Need to add Tai and chip shop to poll but can't seem to change it. :(

Indian. Always. Chinese tends to be cold by the time you get it. And the others I wouldn't touch with a barge pole (well except maybe Pizza if it's a decent store, i.e. not Pizza Hut or Dominos).

Glad to see you went with curry :D

Out of the options Indian is clearly the way forwards, if I'm going to treat myself then I'll buy myself a nice curry but I don't do it all that often. Money tends to get spent on other stuff instead. :)

Usually pizza - because there's a pizza place 5 mins walk away and nothing else for miles! We'll normally have one over the weekend as a treat for the kids and sit round watching a DVD. And for me cos I don't have to cook or wash up ;)

Or if I'm in town and slightly ravenous it's the local sandwich shop for a breakfast baguette AKA 'full monty' AKA 'cholesterol special.' Bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms, cheese, beans and tomatoes on a nice healthy wholemeal baguette.
Yummy! :)

Chinese or Pizza, it depends. Very rarely any of the others listed, but I am very partial to a Keeeeebab every now and then.

I quite often get Mcd's/BK when out and about, but I'd never go and get it and bring it home to eat.

Our local Indian is AMAZING (although not as good as our ex-Southampton local) and incredibly cheap when compared to Chinese. Having said that, I do enjoy Chinese too so its usually 50/50 on what we have.

I may or may not have just spent a content evening wrapping prezzies ably assisted by wine and an indian take away.

Feel like a whale now though!

We're very lucky as we have an ace Indian round the corner who do a bucket load of food for a tenner. We also have the best chinese in St Helens 2 minutes walk away.

For us though it's usually chinese as it's so close and the food is great, though if we're feeling rather ravenous we'll order an Indian. Miss Haly sampled it and seemed to quite enjoy it.

Mic isn't a huge fan of indian so I generally only have it at BD meets or ready meals from tescos.

I really could eat chinese every night - there are so many different things that I like that it would take me a while to get bored of it.

Chippys are great.

Pizza I generally have to be in the right mood for but I always seem to have a chicken one.

KFC I do like - I don't care what other people say - I enjoy it.

I don't count mcd or bk as burgers let alone meals - burger van burgers can be brilliant though - them along with KFC are the very naughty once in a long while treats

Where's the "all-of-them-at-once-in-my-phace" choice?! ;)

I struggled between chinese and curry - it all depends on what mood I'm in and when we last ate which of what! I chose chinese this time though... ask me in a fortnight and it will no doubt have changed! Nom nom nom nom!

After what you got in-your-phace the other night, I think everyone's scared of making comments like that. ;D

Anyway, chinese for me. Don't think I've ever ordered an indian takeaway, but never decline eat-in. There's a decent chinese place less than 10 mins walk away, with a fish and chippy next door to that if I'm feeling like something different. :)

It was lovely :D

I love Indian so voted for that, definitely my favourite takeaway. But if a chinese is decent then it's brilliant especially egg fried rice :D

I like them all really, sometimes I'm in the mood for pizza but other times not. I like KFC but never really see it as a proper takeaway.
