We've got two companies that come round selling sandwiches for lunchtime.

One usually turns up at about 10:30, a nice lady with a fake tan and a deep voice, nice sarnies and reasonably priced. I feel bad if I'm not buying a sandwich that day and I have to go for a poo while she's outside, it's all the niceties and I have to awkwardly shuffle past to the toilet, so I wait until she's gone. The later Picnic Penny arrives between 11:30 and 12, she's a bit harder looking and not so friendly, also deep voiced but her sandwiches are in posh boxes and more expensive as a result.

So because they come at different times there's no crossover. Until Friday.

Friday for some reason Picnic Penny turned up at 10:30 and was out in the hall at the same time as the earlier lady. And there was a row. :D Picnic Penny has obviously realised there is someone else in this game and today, the sneaky sly dog turned up at 10 on the dot.

Well we're not having that, when the nice sandwich lady turned up I sent someone out to tell her what was going on. We shall see ;D

You stirrer!

I have images of you all standing round eating sandwiches whilst watching a catfight.

My old-old place used to get a sandwich van. A little pricey, but good quality.

Then the powers that be decided on our behalf to get a different one in, and told the original that they were no longer required. New one was lower quality, and about the same price.

So we rang the original one back and got them to come back, ring one of us when she arrived, and we'd all bundle out to the carpark :D

Turns out the new one had offered the company 5% of the takings to get the business  cheeky underhanded oiks. But we got our way anyway :D

It's the right thing to do though!

Too bloody right! Your cash, your stomach. It's not as if you're obliged to buy from that one anyway.

That was the problem with being off tje beaten track, not many visitors!

I think the overriding issue was we weren't going to be dictated to! ;D
