Well I found the f****r after 20 minutes looking so have implemented a new system for when I am working from home.

Ahhh.. thats what you meant by RSA key. I was assuming ssh keys :)

BT used to provide RSA keys for authorising Woosh tests on DSL lines, but they used to be small credit card sized things.
