View Full Version : Plans for the weekend?
No point to this thread other than to make me feel jealous :p
Last night I had pizza and watched some stuff which had been taped last week (you can tell I'm a 24year old party animal can't you :o  :o )
Over today and tomorrow I have 2 rattie cages to clean out (maybe 3 if I decide to "decommission" Cmots cage - it is still all set up for him in case things went pear-shaped with the babies but he has been in with them for over a week now - I think he is resigned to the fact that he has a new home...with housemates ;D )
I'm hoping to convince Mic to take me to pets at home as I need to get a corner litter tray for the babies cage - try and get them litter-trained nice and young :) Only problem with that is I know how much I end up spending in that place :o
Other than that its just washing and housework (see - my party animal ref ^^ up there is oh so true :( :o )
So come on peeps - its nice and sunny (well...here anyway) - how you spending your weekend?

Today I shall be mostly visiting the local freshers fair, watching the rugby (having watched the tonking that was last nights match as well) and probably playing pool. All hopefully with a beer in my hand, however I may put it down to play pool for a second, I play badly enough with two hands. ;D
Tomorrow not sure, possibly going swimming before having a nice evening meal with friends. :)

Well i am waiting for the Missus to come round then i will load car up & head down the water for a major cruise. She has just got back from Ireland so will have some Top Irish whiskey for me  I am going to get her to drop me off then drive on to the car park access to canal location. Then after loading the boat & casting off i plan on getting Pissed as a fart whilst steering us down the cut :)
That'll do me till about T time. After that i have no plans so i will either be laying on top of my boat burping spent Whiskey or eating from some questionable pub.
Just had the idea to ring a chinese from the boat & get it delivered.
Chinese shop. " Where would you like it delviered Sir "
Me. " To the Blue boat on the Ashby canal " :D + ;D
I'm going to do absolutely sod all above sitting in the garden with a book enjoying the sunshine :D
I'm doing some planning this morning. I would like to get a few slabs laid in the garden, need to get to halfords to get some wiper blades. Grass needs cutting too.
If all goes well today, may suggest heading down to Trago Mills to get a mirror and look for kitchen lights too. Then we can start thinking about putting some pictures back onto the walls!
I had a lovely Indian takeaway (Very nearly rivalled the awesome takeaway I had when I was living in Stafford :D) last night while watching various stuff on TV to relax after a busy week.
Today I'm most likely gaming most of the day, 360's been deprived by my standards this week :p So I want to get on with some playing of Dirt. Hopefully have a late night of gaming with luck :D
Tomorrow I'm probably going to go visit an old workmate as I've still got a bottle of wine for her from a couple of weeks ago, and visit another mate to see how he's doing as it's been a few weeks.

Tomorrow is Jamie's b'day so after a lovely looong lie in tomorrow we'll spend the day relaxing and tomorrow early evening we shall be going to a nice italian for some dinner :)

Just done what we've nicknames Clare Killer mix for BC so going for a shower in a second. Then I'm going to cut back the over-hanging branches from next door jungle of a front garden thats getting in the way of our door. Then off down to Whitley to check on the parents.
Then home and food, and get ready for a house warming / birthday party tonight on the wrong side of the river which I expect will last till at least the early hours of Sunday
Tomorrow if I'm sober enough and not in too much pain from the killer mix I'll go down to BP, shower and then off to Whitley for lunch with the family. Then house work at the parents followed by home and finally relaxing for a few hours :) Don't think I've got anything planned for Sunday night but that's always subject to change.

Weeeell yesterday i got a lift into town, pottered about a bit doing nothing really and then came home.
Today i will be writing a report (i keep writing repost!) on the archaeology dig i did in July and then going down the coast with my mum, dad, sister and her dods. Then maybe if there is time i'll go and buy some nice divided notepads for starting back at uni on Tuesday *cough* no lectures until Thursday *cough*.
Sunday will be me handing in said report and if i don't have time today buying notepads and a new uni hoodie since mine accidentally ended up in Texas...long story.
today, I'm going to take the head unit out of my car to see if there's an auxiliary in on it. then I'm going to go to town (Charlotte tricked me into thinking that I'm getting a new piercing today, when actually I'm not until October) to mooch around. I think we might be going to Monkey World, or the Otter Sanctuary. Then maybe out for drinks tonight and hopefully a little programming and relaxing tomorrow.

My friends have left for university and my family has gone to France for the weekend. I truly am alone this weekend :/
Travelled up to Leeds last night and spent the night getting drunk and watching Cabaret and Calamity Jane with my friend Sarah and having a right giggle singing along. Crashed on her sofa for the night.
Was up at 7.30 to put up my pole as I'm giving a lesson tonight to a few friends. Am currently in Huddersfield in Paul's parents' conservatory on the laptop while Paul plays the new Mario game on his Wii. We're off back to Leeds at about 6 where he'll be off to visit a friend while I give the lesson and then get tarted up and head off to Wendyhouse for a dance and a laugh with mates. Then I'm picking Paul up and we're staying the night at his parents.
Tomorrow will be staying here til I pick up a friend at 6 and drop her and her baby off in mid wales on my way back to Swansea.
Last night got depressed by the rugby then had a rather interrupted nights sleep courtesy of the saffers next door who were celebrating, and still are (yet to hear even a moments lapse God alone knows what 'stimulation' must be being used!!)
Today I've had a lazy morning chatting with peeps on MSN. Just got back from a succesful shop along Oxford Street which really wasn't all that packed as I'd been led to believe it would be on a Saturday. The rest of the day? Nothin' much. Hopefully getting this USB Digital TV card to find a signal (bought a new indoor aerial whilst I was shopping), and then watch rugby and do little else :D
Tomorrow will be church in the morning, then no major plans for the rest of the day. Might start looking at Perl programming and see if I can get my head around that
Last night I watched the rugby and went to bed depressed. This morning I was at the gym, then went down to kent for a bit of a drive and blast as well as enjoy the sunshine, as well as meeting some friends for lunch. Later this afternoon brownie is coming over and then we're heading out to meet some friends to go to someone's b'day party. Tomorrow will likely be lazy...

This weekend, I will be mostly hanging around on an oil rig with another hundred or so hairy arsed men (calm down Jen :p ) :(
Next weekend, however, I will be mostly getting pissed up on Malt whisky and twiggy ale
Last night, I was getting depressed at how little work I'd done for the last week (I've been in one of those 'hang around forums and do as little as possible' moods for the last several weeks - the ones I'd hoped I'd got out of).
So, today I shall be doing as little as possible, and tomorrow I shall be doing the work I was supposed to be doing on Friday. :/
Well at the moment i'm taking 5 before having another cuppa and heading down the gym. Today has been painting, tomorrow will be painting and sorting my house round :/ So generally an action packed weekend.
If the rc car starts tomorrow then i'll be zooming around the park at some point. May even wash the car
Yesterday I spent most of the day running around picking up dresses/at hairdressers/delivering wedding cake/keeping the bride relaxed/getting tarted up to go to a wedding, then spent the evening at said wedding taking photos, eating too much, tottering about in FAR too high heels and generally having a lovely time :)
Today I've done bugger all, we all slept in until 10.30 which was delicious, I've just spent an hour taking off the nails I spent a fortune having done on Thursday and I'm off to get some fish and chips for tea! Then I'm heading over to see another BDer and his fambly and we're all heading to the pub for some drinkies :D
Tomorrow I'm heading to Middleton on Sea for an in-laws party. I'm hoping the weather will be nice again so I can go and chill out on their private beach
Then it's monday and the panic over starting a job will probably start to set in!
Today we've driven a 280 mile round trip to pick up an exhaust for Vixs car. Tonight we're off to my mums for a Chinese. Not really sure what we're doing tomorrow yet.
Today has gone exactly to plan. I've spent most of the day in the garden reading and now that I've finished my book I'm sitting outside with the laptop waiting for dinner to cook.
I think I'm going out for a curry tomorrow.

Marsh Farm
No wonder I'm getting confuddled !! ;D
Don't worry, I can understand.
PS - if it makes it any easier to remember, there's no apostrophe in Marks Tey. :)
THe piggery at Marsh Farm is GINORMOUS! And very stinky, it'll rival Jamies bottom burps! Have fun :)

Me and Daz went to a funfair last night and he had some candyfloss for the way back :)
I went shopping this morning, and came back with 3 cushions, a towel bale, a new top, some tealight holders, some photographic paper and film, and a huge canvas for our new living room.
I am now broke :(
Dunno what we are doing tomoro, **** all hopefully :)
If the rc car starts tomorrow then i'll be zooming around the park at some point. May even wash the car
Now there's an idea - I might get the Savage out tomorrow and see if it still works after being in the shed for a couple of years!
Today I got to the 'rents about 10, was managed to say hello to my brother and sis in law. Then got frogmarched into the garden for 7 hours of being shot with a bow and arrow, knives thrown at me, hit with brooms, apples, boomerangs, anything else to hand. Short break in the middle somewhere to stuff my face before getting hauled back out!
On the way back from the park (boomerang session), got waved at by a silver focus - Matt?
Oh, and also watched 13+ hot air balloons go over :)

Sun has just come out here so i may trot down my boat for the afternoon. That was the plan yesterday but i was up till 3am buzzing my tits off on a Natural high. I had a fabulous day yesterday getting a few new things for the boat like an Extinguisher, a small pot & frying pan & other bits & bobs. Then my cruising was Superb. Then the missus brought me Plenty of gifts back from Ireland as well including some Excellent Whiskey. It's so smooth when i did my usual Cowboy impression of drinking it out the bottle for a taster i went back to it 3 times to guzzle straight from the bottle Cowboy style ;D
She brought back some of that Lush Fudge as well & some other nick knacks. One thing was an Authentic water jug for Whiskey which i find as much use as a Chocolate Teapot, Water in Whiskey makes baby Jesus cry :'(
Anyway hopefully i will clear my foggy head & wander off down the boat rather than sit here getting messed up spamming Interweb forums :p
Spent 2 hours yesterday trying to fix my old car as it failed it's MOT and still haven't got it sorted. Had Bangers and Mash with my Dad then hit the local pubs with some friends followed by a kebab.
Woke up this morning with a nasty headache even though I only had 4 pints, turned out a few others from last night were the same, was either a dodgy pint or the dodgy kebab. Got rid of the headache with a full English Breakfast and 3 cups of tea :D
Well gym went well yesterday - went out for some drinks and dinner with friends yesterday evening which was most pleasant. Have had a nice lie in (first time in several months) got up at about 10!!!! Now just making roast lamb, and might go to the flicks this evening.

No plans apart from that as yet :)
I am currently watching Bond, James Bond.
You expect me to talk?
No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!
My name is Pussy Galore
Best Bond Girl Name, Ever?
Watched the 125s, 250s and motos. Helped Mic do the oil in the car (AKA I held the funnel). Packed the gas fire away in the shed and set up the electric replacement and surround which we bought with some of the gift money given to use from BDers. Going to go for one of my infamous bubblebaths in a bit and am doing roast turkey for dinner tonight for us and toast and sardines for the monsters :)
This morning and early afternoon did the discs and pads on my friend's corsa as they were just about knackid :)
Washed it then exchanged it for a crate of stella :)
Now I'm deliberating watching Bourne identity with a couple of stella's :D
Yesterday went to Nuneaton to pick up a new exhaust for Sakura. Then went to his mums for chinese and stayed over cos I had a headache.
Today haven't done much - want to go to sleep but don't want to end the weekend just yet :/

Fab weekend.. not sure where that went though..
Friday night we watched a few films and had nawty nibbles.
Saturday : Leanne and I went fishing.. Caught 2 x 12lb carp but we had 4 more that slipped off the hook just as we were landing the damn things. Grr.
Sat Evening we had guests :)
Sunday Morning, we went out to choose our new kithchen work surface , tiles and electrical stuff as we are about to have some building work done in te loung.dinner/kitchen area. In the afternoon I slept in the sunshine - lovely.
then last night, our estranged brother-in-law turned up. Nice to catch with him.
Well, as we've arrived (and nearly gone past) another weekend, I thought I'd wake this thread up, because I do actually have stuff to report this week. :)
Friday night: Curry night. \o/
Saturday: Not a lot, but went phone and bed shopping.
Sunday: Firsts, loads of 'em...
Decided on Saturday evening, for reasons totally unknown, that I'd like to go find the local Parish church and maybe attend a service there to see what it was like. Like I said, no idea why, as I'm not a church-going person. Anyway, I decided to varry through my idea, so off I went and found it. I've been here on and off (mostly on) since 1990 and I'd never been there (though I did know very roughly where it was). Got there at 10AM, just in time for Morning Worship, so OK then, in I went. That'll be the first time I've been to a service in the diocese then, as well as the first time I've been to church on my own. May well be Garp's sort of place actually - no organ, so it was guitar and keyboard, and I suspect at least one other instrument though I wasn't close enough to see for sure. I don't think they could have chosen a more appropriate sermon to fit me if they'd tried. Coincidence? I'll leave you to make your own mind up there.
Bearing in mind that church is over a mile away, when I was done, I decided on a 6-7 mile roundtrip walk to the retail park and back (6-7 miles through Newbury and out the other side). I didn't even go to buy anything - just look - and I spent the grand total of £2.49 while there. On return, I stopped off at my local pub and had lunch. Also a first (despite the length of time I've lived here I'd never actually been inside either of the local pubs).
Having completed at least four firsts, I think I'm now going to bed. :D
Friday = Curry night too :D W00t!
Saturday = Playing about pointlessly with website designs and then smashing up bricks for hours and laying slabs
Sunday = Go-into-town-and-find-me-a-blooming-bra. AND HURRAH! I found TWO! TWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWO! Albeit it's set me back £60 (for two bras and a pair of matching nix) I'm well happy!
Heading to Mister Fakeyroos in a bit for some fud munching and general gallumphing about! Problem is... my desserts haven't set yet... and one of them resembles a cow turd. Slightly nervous of the response I will be receiving!
:D
Good weekend - active and busy really! :D

Just finished working all weekend.. A project that I've been working on was implemented this weekend. Started Friday night and was in place this morning. It was all signed off about 2 hours ago.. Now when's bonus time :)
Friday night ma and Lom were at her mums till late-ish.
Saturday day we celebrated Josh's birthday with cake, pink wafers, egg sandwiches cut into triangles, and other party nibbles. When the kiddles were in bed we watched "Severance" on Sky Movies and then went to bed ourselves.
Today, I have been mostly sat around in my pants and vest playing "Monster Surgery" and other birthday things with Josh. Lom has been wallowing on the sofa complaining of swollen feet and aching hips/pelvis, and Georgie has been mostly sleeping.
Worked Saturday morning whilst Phil fitted my zorst. Took Phil to A&E as he managed to get a bit of car in his eye. Whilst at A&E the bit of car left his eye so we came home :D Cooked Chili together and then watched crap on TV.
Today went to a Lotus show then to an air show this afternoon with the car club.
Can't believe the weekend is almost over. Currently watching '100 forgotten gems of the 80s' and waiting for my pizza to turn up. Some eBay auctions of mine end tonight too so I might be doing some packaging later :)

Sunday: Firsts, loads of 'em...
Congrats on all of them :)
Does sound a little more like my style of church, though ideally I like drums and bass guitar to back me up too ;) Of course it could still be Mission Praise they were playing *shudder*
Friday night I ate toad in the hole which was delicious :D Then watched TV for most of the evening.
Saturday I mainly tidied up, sorted out some financial bits and pieces and emailed my dissertation supervisor about some stuff.
Sunday, I went out shopping with my Mum this morning, first to return some jeans then bought some birthday presents for my Mum (I'm being organised and starting 2 months early), and bought a bag for work so I can actually fit my keys, work ID, wallet and lunch in one bag.
When we got in, I spent the afternoon reading the Sunday papers, now I'm just catching up on the forums, playing a few games then having chicken pie and roast potatoes for dinner :D
Been ill
Chatted on MSN
Watched bike racing

There were drums (fake ones, but still). Unfortunately it was indeed Mission Praise and I'll admit it's not my bag either, but there's only one way to find that out. Still, the relevance of the sermon was the scary bit, not the Mission Praise. :)
Different service 1st and 3rd Sundays though so I may give it a second chance. :)
Friday evening, gym, food. And early night.
Sat up early, caught up on admin and paper work. Went to see Superbad (hilarious!) then went to Masala Zone and then just chilled out.
Sun - lie in got up at 930, went to gym, did some fiddling on the comp. Did some ironing and cleaning got myself ready for the week.
Nothing muchos interesting.

Oh dear.. ahh well at least it was a start :D I hope not "Shine, Jesus, Shine"?
If you're prepared to try something a little more modern I can probably dig up some details of local churches :) Bound to be a newfrontiers church or similar near you.
Saturday I met up with some friends near Watford and then went into London for a gig
Today I've been up in Manchester to see Chelsea loose to Man U and then had the pleasure of a 4 hour drive home thanks to the M6 being fooked.
Garp, it didn't get that bad, though we did have the children out front doing stuff. Bless. :)
I'm not going to make a regular habit of it, so don't worry. I have nothing against those who do make a regular habit of it of course, but for me it's more a case of trying to get out of the house a little more and try new things/meet people. We've got an Alpha course starting up next week if I was going to take the other route. :)
Almost all of my recent (last 15 years) visits to church have been the Christmas Eve service in a church with an organ, so you can count a fifth first if you like. :)
Saturday went to Inuyama, to the Monkey Park, hotel for washoku, then went ukai fishing, onsen and maybe a bit too much drinking!
On Sunday we went to a place called Little World, which was kind of tacky but still interesting, then a conveyor belt sushi/sashimi place which was delicious - watched baseball at night.
It's still sort of weekend because I have holiday today, so tonight I'm going out for dinner at Toyota with a girl I met last week. Lots of fun!
Wrote in more detail on my blog.

friday night, sitting at my mates drinking vodka and redbull stuff, playing WoW and watching Crank.
up till about 4 o'clock doing that.
up at half 8 in the morning to help my mate move into his new flat. finished that at about 6 in the evening. the only reason i was awake past about 6 was that i drank another litre of blue charge.
paula came through that night. pizza and films.
up till about half 1 or 2 doing that.
up at silly o'clock (like 8 or 9 or something).
pottered about all day yesterday. left paula at the bus station, one of the guys from work called to see if i fancied a few drinks, aye cool says me. cool i'll be in town in about an hour :|
just too long for me to head home, so sat about the bus station for an hour.
went to the pub eventually. drinking vodka and redbull again.
sleep about 2 o'clock again.
been awake since about 5 and not been able to get back to sleep properly.
PURE SHATTERED HERE.

Doh! :o Of course!! :o
Sunday, I went out shopping with my Mum this morning, first to return some jeans
You tooketh your jeans back? :(
Saturday was great, I went out on a two hour 4x4 session in a Land Rover Defender just outside Canterbury where I spent the time driving up huge steep inclines and down the other sides, practising doing it right and what to do when it all goes wrong. Splashing through mud and water and then getting the mud off my arm which was leaning out the window.
Sunday was crap, wasn't able to get out and see my buddies as I wanted and then it ended up with me shouting loudly at YMF, finally crashing out to bed and not sleeping :(
/edit - Forgot to say that we had Pizza (from our local place which is called "Piggys" ;)) on Saturday evening and it was rubbish.

I had one of those Invasion weekends. I went from answering the phone to answering the door continuously it seemed. As soon as i got rid of one visitor another phoned, when i put the phone down someone else rang to come round. I ended up going over a mates to talk a deal out, we are still talking now & it's been two days.
Nothing got done this end at all & i didn't get down my boat. The last time i went down my boat i forgot the keys :D
A completely unproductive few days i must say.
Friday: Left work early and went to my friend's Nick and Jo in Cambridge, had a bit of pizza and chilled out :)
Saturday: The girls all arrived for the Hen Do and we chucked Nick out :p went to a Spa in Cambridge and used the gym for a couple of hours before taking advantage of a back neck and shoulders massage then had some yummeh luncheon. After lunch had an Aqua Polish (exfoliating massage) and some waxing (ouch!). Then used the spa, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi before heading out to cocktails in town... but we were all so chilled we ended up bringing the taxi forward to 1130 and I was in bed by 0000
Sunday: Had a yummy breakfast and then luckily managed to get a lift back to London instead of getting buses/trains/underground and potentially being late for my friend's surprise birthday party which involved loads of food, cake and happiness :)
Great weekend! :D
And now its not only Monday, but its raining :( boo!!!

I've just had my plans for next weekend confirmed and it should be a goodun!
Tuesday evening, drive to office in Belgium. Wed and Thur work out of Belgian office. Friday drive to Munich (a mere 800km), Saturday BBQ and beer, Sunday Octoberfest  Monday, drive back to UK
It's gonna hurt.
Oktoberfest ;) It rocks there, this is the first year for about 5 years that I've not gone.
Burble, we _have_ to do it one year..
Definately! It'll need some planning though, hotels in central Munich get fully booked by about June.
Aye, booking early is a good idea. If not, small hotels on the outskirts are a more likely target. Work were able to book one for me during Oktoberfest at relatively short notice.

Well this weekend should be a good one involving lots of beer with some great mates ;)
This weekend we should hopefully be relaxing at home with visits off friends to see our baby girl :D
She better be out by then.
Gutted! Don't envy you one bit!
This weekend is too far away to plan. I'll see what happens when I get to it!
I spent the weekend examining the toilet in great detail and generally feeling meh. The downside was twofold. I missed the BMW show and never got chance to pop in and see the Faylom Family. :'(
I don't feel 100% now, but at least im away from everyone, so if I do have a bug, nobody else will catch it.

You tooketh your jeans back? :(
Noooo, different jeans :) I bought them off the republic pair and one pair were too long and the others were too tight (eeek), so I took them into the shop to return so I didn't have to pay postage :D
I'm actually doing something this weekend
Going to buy paint for the living room during the day on Saturday and going to see Billy Connolly in the evening :)

Well this weekend I shall be down the pub on Saturday evening to watch the Super League Grand Final between St Helens and Leeds, hopefully followed by the England - France game. Good sporting evening sorted there :D
Sunday will probably entail sorting and tidying, so not very exciting at all.
I'm doing Sweet FA all weekend!!! Hurrah!!! I dont have to BE anywhere or particularly DO anything...
Except clean my oven and fridge.... and now I have to take my spare key round my Uncle and Aunty's because 'someone' left their keys at work on Monday :o and had to get her spare keys from her Uncle and Aunty.
My Aunty's just got out from hospital recovering from a stroke so am going to bake a cake and take it round for them with some flowers. :) As I haven't seen her since she came out of hospital and feel very guilty that the only time I went round there is because I forgot me key...
And make a trifle too! :D

This weekend I'm hoping to go and see my niece at some point, as it's her 1st birthday today. Other than that I hope it'll be very relaxing and very quiet :)
I've been thinking for weeks about finding my RC truck thing and seeing if it still works, perhaps I'll physically get off my actual fat arse and spalling well do something about it.
I'm off to the Walkers Stadium Friday night for the England Under 21 match :D
Saturday will be watching the football and rugby while chilling on the couch.
Sunday, driving to Pickering to take my uncle and his wife back home, then spending the night there as there is some kind of WW2 thingy-ma-jig going on. Also will be eating in the Thai restaurant he owns up there for the first time. *drools*
Monday, driving home as I've the day off :D
We're gardening this weekend. Got to dig up the jungle out back in preparation for some turf to go down :)
We're carpet shopping and packing :)
Oh, we're also taking some c***s out to dinner on Friday ;)
Well, tomorrow meeting up with a certain bunch of Interweb peeps for a cheeky pint or two, then heading down to (hopefully sunny) Cornwall back home for a weekend of maxing, relaxing and heading to the local rugby club to watch the England-v-France game! Should be good and plenty drunk!

The same as most weekends at the moment - DIY around the house, stripping wallpaper and prepping walls.
I was going to be going to a safari zoo on Saturday but unless I'm markedly changed tomorrow that'll be postponed till the following week. Supposed to be leading worship at church, but again unless my voice is healthy tomorrow I'll postpone that too. I look after my vocal chords carefully :)
saturday, wake up late, clean house, clean cars, maybe take some more bits off cars.
Sunday - Mighty Minis at Snetterton :D
I'm hoping to have a very quiet and relaxing weekend.
My only real aims are to play Blue Dragon, Condemned, Gun and Puzzle Quest lots.
Then Sunday I'm going out to spend my birthday money with my Mum :D Or in other words, buying more games :D

I was on a training dig on the Hungate site Dig Hungate (http://www.jorvik-viking-centre.co.uk/hungate/index.htm)
Was my first ever dig and i could not have chosen a better place to learn my trade. Largest dig York has seen for 25 years, right in the middle of York town centre. I would totally recommend it, even to experienced archaeologists.
My dad is coming to mine for his birthday and we're off out somewhere (I forget where) on Saturday. Sunday I have to teach the local Tae Kwon-do senior class which means lots of shouting, lots of bowing and more shouting interspersed with periods of shouting and ending in more bowing :)

Hmmmm plans for the weekend have just got more complicated
Originally It was to go to Birmingham via London on Friday afternoon (Aitch has a half day) meet my parents and Aitch's parents and go to see War of the Worlds Live http://www.thewaroftheworlds.com/ at the NEC, Saturday go shopping and in the afternoon take both sets of parents to see The Golden Compass here http://www.theelectric.co.uk/index.htm I've booked; West, Keaton and Laurel :D
Today I call parents to tell them about the cinema (make sure they hadn't seen it yet) and father tells me he's torn his bicep and can't drive and mother has a chest infection and her antibiotics are messing with her Rhumatoid tablets and she feels rubbish and doesn't want to do any driving apart from motorways :/
We've agreed that I'll now drive to Bristol and pick them up there and drive them up to Birmingham then come and pick my car back up on Sunday :D
Bloody parents.

On Friday I have the day off to wait for some deliveries and for the BT man to come and connect our phone line in the new house. On Saturday daytime there will likely be lots of painting and decorating. Saturday night I'm going around to a mate's house to watch the Hatton - Mayweather fight. Sunday will likely be spent recovering from going to sleep at 6am, possibly with either a paintbrush or screwdriver shoved in my hand :D
Sat night , meet pub 8pm, curry 10pm, back to pub at midnight by this time landlord with have kicked all the rabble out and we have a lock in with a poker tourney starting 00:30 and planned to finish just as the boxing starts , should be home sometime after 6am :p
On friday I'm off oop north where Paul and I have his parents' house to ourselves. Hurrah!
War of the Worlds should be good. I'd have love to have seen it. I hope they do it again (and I find out about it). :)
As for me, I'll be watching NASA mostly, as well as extricating the box for the PC I'm shipping out to Swansea. Oh, and packing.

Friday night in, chilling out and watching TV because Sat night I have a huge house party and Sunday night going out with some of the instructures from the gym. Don't fancy going to either anymore cos I'm just plain knackered, and don't want to be in a state for only my second week at work - but can't get out of them. I know they'll be fun, just need to find the energy to actually go :o

- how you spending your weekend?
More 360 LOVE
Friday night - nuffink
Saturday - Sophie has a sports trial to get into a sports college next september. It's out of our catchment but if they like her she'll get a place. I'm scared for her, I have to leave her there all day.
Sunday - revising for exams on Monday
Friday night - Work's night out. Woo!!! Staying at my supervisor's house so I can actually drink for a change
Saturday - TRY and get up at 07:30 for Body Pump/Body Max at le gym. Tidy house and get Christmas decorations down from the loft. Buy rest of Christmas presents (online).
Sunday - Put up Christmas tree. Go to the gym. Slob about.
Quite looking forward to a weekend at home because we've been doing stuff for the last 2-3 weekends and will be doing stuff for the next couple of weekends too. :)

Works night out AND gym at 7.30 next morning, yeah right ;D;)
I'm out at our works dinner tonight, 19:30 in the Mitre in Oxford. There is talk of going clubbing afterwards but Oxford's not my first choice of clubbing venue. And I want to get back to Lom and the kiddles at a reasonable time.
Saturday, me Lom and the mother-in-law are attempting to get the rooms swapped round upstairs. Kids in the big room and me and Lom in the back room. The incentive to get it done is I CAN HAS THE 360 IF IT'S SORTED.
And Sunday, I'm back at work. :(
Last night I played at a local pub for the first time on their open mic night, was great fun, I've missed that kind of performance and I did a good job relying on three particular songs I'm strong at. Have to start on a good note. On call next week so I won't be able to play then :-/
Tonight is our works Christmas do, down at Namco Station (http://www.namcostation.co.uk/), so I'll be back from that late..
Tomorrow is my b'day and the mini beer festival meet :)
Sunday I'll probably be recovering from the previous two days..

Seeing as how my boss isn't answering his phone I am about to e-mail him to say that I am going home sick (Had a bit of a sore throat yesterday, woke up this morning with more of a sore throat, coughing up some icky looking phlegm, headache, muscleache... And I came to work :/), then i am going to collect some comfort foods, build a nest on the sofa and watch The League Of Gentleman in an attempt to make myself weller for his (^^) birthday and beer festival tomorrow...
Then I get abducted for a fantastic voyage to a secret location on Sunday morning to be deposited back home at some point on Monday...
*tries to call boss one last time before giving up and e-mailing him*

Yes, I blame your God :p
Home with stuffs and installed on the sofa watching DVDs now.
Good news Feekles, I acquired some bread and bacon for your breakfast on Sunday :D
We have the white ready to be watered down as its new plaster and then colour  We'll find out if red and orange was a good idea or not ;D :o
Its...orange...very...orange...
Naff all tonight.
Have to find some time to clean my car this weekend. Might pop on the 360 at some point and that's pretty much my weekend. Oh, and I have to pop into Hinckley tomorrow to see if I can find an LNB bracket for our sky dish as the stupid window cleaners knocked it with their ladders and it's currently held in place with electricians tape.

I was standing outside in the freezing cold today, and i'll be doing the same all day sunday. Fun!
Well I should post in here :) Tonight I will be watching a film with a nice glass of 15yr single malt. Working late has been catching up with me, just lack of sleep and I've been working far too hard so i'm going to take it easy. Just generally catching up with sleep and doing some diy.
Sounds like a great time Loz :)

Last night consisted of lounging about doing sod all, drinking beer and whisky and eating sushi and lobster thermidor (from Tesco :o).
Today consisted of lounging about doing sod all, drinking tea and eating bacon butties and pizza.
Tonight will consist of lounging about doing sod all and a bit of gaming interspersed with drinking beer and Cabernet Sauvignon and eating fillet steak, mushrooms, onions and tatties.
Tomorrow will consist of lounging about doing sod all, drinking tea and watching telly through the day and lounging about doing sod all, drinking beer and whisky in the evening and eating whatever takes my fancy.
Perfect weekend :D
I've done piss all today. You just don't appreciate the weekend if you have been off work most of the week. Woke up at 11:30, went back to bed at 12 cos I felt ill. Went to shop at 3 and got a sandwich. Monged about on the net. Nodded off on the sofa bed at 5:30. Going to Supermarket at 8!

After going to the doctor's yesterday and getting sent for a blood test, I've been off sick again this weekend thanks to slightly blurry vision and dizziness amongst other things. Got an official piece of paper off the doctor's for this but still a bit worried I'll be getting hassle off work for this.
So I spent much of today asleep trying to get over this bloody thing!

Have been taking the before, during and after pics but am hoping we'll get furniture back in the room (and maybe xmas decs although I think the colours might clash) before the end of the weekend, so I'll post full pic timeline then :)
Not had a very nice weekend :( but apart from that i am very pleased with myself as i didn't get any sleep on friday night but my mummy and i manged to move bedrooms round and that was a huuuuge job due to toys and clothes etc...
kids grow out of clothes so quick. :(
Iain helped a lil bit but was being sick all day due to hangover
Not taking 360 out of box yet due to my mum and i doing all the work lol.
'ello stranger. Long time no see. :)
Hope all is well, save the sleep of course.
Pheebs has been fairly ill since Friday and didn't actually come downstairs until about 1pm today so we have done sweet FA this weekend. I've done a bit of housework but 95% of the time has been spent snuggled on the sofa with blankets and my girlies watching movies :)
This evening I should be revising, I have exams tomorrow. Pheebs is still dead poorly though...any ideas how I can be in two places at once tomorrow? :/
I'd be a billionaire by now if I knew, so I'll just offer get well soon wishes for Pheebs instead.

Fantastic weekend for me.
Ordered new laptop Friday afternoon.
Finished work on Friday and went and picked up a butt load of new PC bits from the post office. Sadly the machine isn't for me, but it'll be nice to play with for a while.
Did naff all on saturday, had a superb steak for lunch and then watched Bladerunner in the afternoon. :D
Sunday - naff all until 5pm when I went to Wembley Arena to see Crowded House... I'm still partially deaf. :D
Now listening to the show again on CD. :D

My parents and my brother went to the same concert. I'm told it was excellent and that they wouldn't stop playing!

It was fantastic. Just over 140mins on stage!
Did they get the Live CD? Great idea. For a few quid, you get a copy of the gig you've just seen on CD. :D Stops the bootleggers I suppose.
Off to see them at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow too. :D
Wow, no I guess they missed that... they'll have to get a bootleg copy. :D
