No I haven't just won the lottery :p

Need to source a video camera for work... the last one I used was in Uni 4 years ago and was a Sony (;)) had a slide on battery and used a Mini DV.

I assume that they have built in HDD now or something...or can burn to DVD? Does anyone know anything about them and could have some suggestions?!?!

I need to buy it for use next thursday.

Thanks in advance!

You can get ones now which record straight onto DVD though I'm not sure how good they are :( Will have a look and let you know.

You can also get camcorders that record to SD card now. No moving parts, but I'm not sure how picture quality compares.
