Well normally I resist, but today at the canteen there was this going free, with a sign saying have as much as you want.... so I did. :D After doing the gym for ages now, it was worth it

Thats a good 2" slice of cake. Good thing i'm getting my fat Biffa ass down the gym later :D

I do have a real weakness for carrot cake. If it was chocolate then I could have left it. As a treat its cracking.

Carrot is a vegetable.... cakes are sweet things and they shouldn't mix - hence wrongness! :p

Carrot Juice also wrong.

Similar to my reasons for not eating cheesecake - cheese = solid stuff you slice or grate, not a cake ingredient....then I tried some....now they are probably the closest thing I have to a "cake weakness" :o :o

Agreed with Mei. Though I've had carrot cake and really enjoyed it - I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Definitely agree on carrot juice being wrong!

I can sometimes just eat Mascarpone cheese with a spoon :( thats really bad.

Infact it was a half portion of chocolate cake in a restaurant I went to in Seattle last year. The silver thing on the left is a quarter for comparison.

Carrot cake is lovely!

I forgot to say that I didn't eat all that cake. I had about a sixth of it then took the rest away with to have later. When I looked it it later I felt a bit ill so it went in the bin. And that was the half portion!

I bloody love carrot cake!! Glad I found out that quite a lot of people don't like it... was going to make some for the girlies this weekend!! :P Sometimes strange-sounding combinations just work.
