View Full Version : Stretch your day by 2 hours!
Well my alarm went off this morning and as usual it was dark & MB was snoring away. I jumped into the shower, got ready and dashed down to the station. At this point I started feeling a bit 28 days later - the roads were deserted and when I got to the station it was all closed up. As you can imagine I was confused so I checked my watch - rather than 6.45 it was bloody well 4.45. I had got up 2 whole hours too early!! What a n00b :o I was too awake by now to even think about going back to bed so I went home, sorted some washing and then got a slightly earlier train into work.
Tired now......
LOL! Go to bed you nutter!! I'd be dead on my feet by now :)
Doh! :p Almost numpty award that! ;D I bet you were REALLY confused for a minute or two stood at the station! :D
Welcome to my world... I actually really like getting up early (well sort of, I still groan at the 445 start...). What's wrong with me?! It has made me a lightweight - I'm about to go to bed! :o
Oh dear, that doesnt sound like you Aitch ;D
Oh dear, that doesnt sound like you Aitch ;D
I do have my blonde moments - or Huddyesque as Matt called it ;D
Grrr! not actually sleepy now but my eyes are sore so I am going to have to make myself go to bed.
My first reaction was that that was very Huddyish!
I can't survive in the morning without looking at the clock, I know I go out at half six and it's just automatic to keep an idea on the time.
Anyhoo, off to bed I go.

*giggles at MB's birthday joke*
:p
I've done that once before, when I was working at a Newsagents in gatwick and had my despised 5:30 get-ups. I managed to get up, get washed, breakfasted and to the door before I looked at my watch and realised it was only 2:00. I turned around trudged up to bed and went back to sleep..
;D Gave me a good chuckle :D

;D Bless ya!
I know the feeling, thought last night was saturday (no idea why, I definitely remember doing sunday things.) so caught up on a few films/tv, did some work and eventually fell into bed at 6am... alarm went of 2 hours later for my 9am lecture. I should really sleep.
lol, poor Aitch!!! What on earth was your alarm doing going off at 4.45 though :O I get up at 5:30am, but I'm used to it so I don't mind at all. The earlier I start, the earlier I finish :) I rememember getting home once and falling asleep before tea. I woke up and panicked because I thought it was the morning, and it wasn't even teatime yet! :D
So did you do it today?! ;) :p

Aww Aitch !!
I hate getting up in the mornings, if I can get an extra 2 minutes in bed I bloody well will.
Got up this morning at 7.15 because I really needed a pee and then went back to bed for 5 minutes whilst I waited for the ( snoozed for the second time ) alarm to go off :o
Aitch you nanna head :D
After reading that I couldn't decide whether to laugh or go aaawwwww!!!!! :p
Hahahahaha! Awww it's a shame it wasn't 28days later... that would have been coooooooooool!

I've got up early a few times but always managed to catch myself before I left the house.
A few years ago I woke up at 07:20 in a panic because I had a 07:30 start. I rushed around, got ready and ran all the way to work, arriving 10 minutes late. I went to my supervisor to apologise for being late and she said "WTF are you doing here? It's your day off."
D'oh :o
lol, poor Aitch!!! What on earth was your alarm doing going off at 4.45 though
???
I got up 45 minutes late today even though I'm having major trouble sleeping - I can't imagine going to work two hours early!

lol aw no, I've done that before when I set my alarm for 6 instead of 7. Such a huge sigh of relief and a great feeling to know I had an extra hour in bed. :-)
