Just took the kids to watch this. Have been a bit dubious as I love the original but it was absolutely fab and I can see it becoming one of my favourite films.

I can't really compare it to the original (which is a good thing) as it has a totally different vibe to it, far more upbeat and not dark at all. One of the best films I've seen in a while. John Travolta never fails to amaze me with his dancing too, plus you get Christopher Walken dancing away as an added bonus (Weapon Of Choice anyone?).

Will be buying this ASAP.

Went to see it a couple of months ago and loved it. Never seen the original though. NOT a boys film though :p

Paul might like it - but then one of his fav films is Romy And Michelle's High School Reunion!

Kitten - it's fab. Really! Reminded me a lot of Grease. Same feelgood factor. Little bit of innuendo that went straight over my kids' heads!
