I may have left it too late for christmas, John Lewis, Woolworths are all out..
The OcUk offer sounds a bit steep.
Suggestions?
If only you'd have said yesterday. I wrote a script to watch a few sites and pop up when they came back in stock, it's bagged me 2 for other people. I'm on holiday now so cant get to it :/
I definitely remember getting one from Woolworths. £5 delivery charge but it's still a decent price.
There's still a shortage but I don't think it's fair that shops are increasing the price.
Find a Tesco that's near work which stocks electrical stuff and phone them every morning. Be prepared to drop whatever you're doing and rush there as they get regular stocks in but won't reserve anything.
That's what we did in the office last year and it took two weeks to find a place which had them in stock but we managed it in the end and picked up a couple just before Christmas.
Good luck.
not seen anything yet.
I'd suggest keeping a close eye on - http://www.hotukdeals.com/
and also check the forum as some things don't make the main page...
deals tend to hit that site before the press get hold of things so you can always get in there first! :D

Here you go huddy instock (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=588506) and not too expensive :)

Its not fair at all. I can't remember there being shortages in the run up to a second xmas for a console. I mean its almost worth nabbing a few and then ebaying them near xmas. Never even considered doing that on a console before, its a guaranteed win. I will keep my eyes peeled.
Bit odd that the xmas rush has started pre halloween this year?
There are still shortages of DS Lite's as well  Considering how long it's been around thats nuts!
That's mostly why I got my mum's DS Lite two months early.
Wasn't hard to find Wii stocks on the high street here a month or two ago - no waiting lists at all. Dunno if that is still true but while I was tempted to get one for Chrimbo it looks like I'm waiting until after now. :)

No worries mate, just be warned it isn't a UK Wii it's a euro one. It does come with an adapter though. For piece of mind you might want to buy a UK power supply to make sure :)

I managed to pick up a Wii for £199.. The only place I could get it was from scan although I've noticed they have gone up to £230+ tut.
ANyway, I have noticed that this is the European version not the uk but comes with an adaptor. Does this make any difference?
What sort of adpator is it?
ta,
It makes no difference, it'll just be a power adapter.
