On my side facing the edge of the bed, hands under the pillow under my head :)
I'm great in bed... I can sleep for hours!
Recovery position for me, on my left side. Apparently sleeping on your left side is generally more comfortable because your stomach openings are biased that way. Little fact for you there.
On my side facing the edge of the bed, hands under the pillow under my head :)

on my side, whichever way means I'm facing the wall... don't ask :p
At home it's my left hand side, at uni it was my right hand side.
On my side in some configuration or other. I tend to thrash about for ages barely staying in the same position for more than a few minutes and then eventually end up asleep.

Sums up my method perfectly.
I often end up on my stomach which I hate as it hurts my back. I like being on my left side, but my arm goes numb and I get pins and needles! Otherwise I can dose on my back with my head to the side without much. I have to have 3 squishy pillows though!

I find that lying on my front is usually required for going to sleep but when I wake up I could be on my back or on my side so I must be a rather restless sleeper. I used to be great at sleeping but I seem to have got a lot worse as I get older, when I was about 6 I slept right through a storm ploughing a sheet of corrugated iron through my window - I only woke up because my mum came running through to check I was ok. ;D

Hanging upside down.

Ditto.
On my back.. at least for going to sleep. Whenever I wake up I'm always on my side, facing whatever wall is nearest.
When I'm on my own I sleep in the foetal position away on my right hand side... I kinda curl the duvet over my hands too... it would probably look really uncomfortable but its really cozy!!!
Strange thing is, when Rob is in the bed I have to sleep on the other side.... weird!
Also if I'm ill or on my own I have to wear PJs to bed... helps me sleep better :/

Bed hogger!
Paul sausage rolls up in the duvet.

On my side with one arm under the pillow and with a corner of the duvet folded up under my feet. (Does anyone else do that? Is that weird?)
Oh the duvet's always wrapped under my feet. My flat with it's fantastic storage heaters (neither of which are in the bedroom!) give me little choice!

Sounds like me - I tend to end up on my left side though.

Paul's sausage rolls up in the duvet.
;)
I normally only get 1/4 of the bed, so I've decided I'm going to buy a mega sized bed and build a wall down the middle.

My head needs to be a good firm pillow and straight body with one leg slight krook out at an angle, hands on tummy or as DESMO puts it on Johnson !

I could find them,...have to taken them for your self ! ;)

I'll second that! ;)
Generally... facing out of the bed half on my right hand side and half on my front (my boobs prop me up! heh... they don't actually... I just kinda tangle my arms around my front and everything just gets squished).
Three important good sleep needs for pheebs:
1. Small pillow or duvet of sorts between my knees. Canny sleep with knees touching. Makes me all jittery.
2. No one breathing in my face. I get paranoid I'm not going to take in enough oxygen and start panicking.
3. Something to hug. A teddy, Picky, a pillow... anything (though Picky can make me hot ;) so I generally have my teddy which snuggles nicely between my bosoms)
I'm not fussy or anything... honest ;)
Currently no sleep atm due to swollen bulging glands and the inability to gulp without severe pain (poor picky... though the state I'm in he wouldn't touch me with a barge pole) :)
I usually take a long time to settle but prefer either on my side, facing the outside of the bed (like Pheebs, I hate being breathed on) or on my back with my head to the side if I have backache (if I've been overzealous with the weights). Only use 1 pillow though or sometimes none because more than 1 hurts my neck. When my back was really hurting a few weeks ago, a pillow under my knees (if lying flat on my back) really helped. I also tuck the duvet under my feet to keep them warm :D
I roll up like a chrysalis in my duvet... until Leon comes to bed and steals it all :( His favourite position is starfish. Grrrr!!!
