View Full Version : New addition to my garage.
Well, after the fiasco with the wife's Neon, we decided that being a two car family wasn't going to cut it. We need a spare for backup.
It's a 1993 with the 4.3, 166,000 on the clock, and all the options except power windows and locks. Everything else you can think of except a sun roof. Not bad for $600.....
[EDIT] It looks a LOT better in the pics than it does in person. It's got some Minnesota cancer and is in dire need of some wax slapped on it.

Cool ! :D
That's a lot of car for £300! Nice! :D
Heh, it's actually become my primary as it gets almost 2.5 times the fuel mileage over the truck.
Wife likes driving it, too which is a bonus.
One of the Top Gear team should have bought that instead of the heaps they did for the American holiday!

I'd Raise it then stick some Mudpluggers on it or whatever the American equivalent is of Kin Great Big Knobblys
Then i would seek out all the green lanes bridle way places i could & go off road, O wait ;D
Well, if I can slide it past the wife, I'm getting a set of these (http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/overview/all-terrain-t-a-ko/44.html) in 253/75-15. They're $277.78 mounted and balanced for the set. I wanted them in 31/10.50-15, but that would require a 2" body lift plus the tyres would be over $600. Don't think that would slide past me let alone the wife......
Bloody hell, that's cheap (and they'll look good)!
Heh, may be cheap for you, but you gotta' remember that my paychecks are only $600 every two weeks.... :(
I missed this!
My brother has one with the V6 and the tackiest conversion you'll see. Mexicans did it at Chochoo Customs. It's so tacky you have to love it :D
