New Hair ..

.. I is excited ! I have new hair ! \o/

Went to the hairdressers this morning and nearly, very nearly, had a bob ! :shocked:

Hairdresser talked me out of it though cos I've been trying to grow it for ages, instead I've had loads more layers put in which really show off the colour. Also trying a thicker side fringe ( got to stick loads of hairspray on it to try and get it to stay .. I have a dreaded cowslick ! )

I was thinking they'd have to bleach it first cos it's so dark anyway. My hair is in pants condition, Piggy you can tell how lovely yours is cos it's so shiny and glossy!

but my paralysing fear of hairdressers (or atleast - fear of an awful haircut) stops me going! i went 2 months ago, after not having it cut for almost a year - and i promised myself i wouldn't leave it that long again, but i will :(

I know the feeling, I had a nightmare haircut about 3 years ago now... I asked for some long layers and the silly cowbag went mental and chopped the ****e out of it :/ The ends were all wispy and horrible.

The hairdresser I have now is brill - she knows my fear of wispy ends ;D

if you don't know - you are obviously lucky enough to not have one!!
its a 'sticky uppy' bit of hair at the front - where it seems to want to grow straight up, or to the side, rather than lie flat down - it looks like you've been licked by a cow...
i have one, on my right sided parting - it looks daft!

Looks lovely Piggy :) wish a colour like that would stay in my hair instead of fading out to nothingness, only colour that so far managed to stay in for more than a month and a half without fading is black. Even that is now reddy brown.
Not had my hair cut since May, it desperately needs done. Hopefully will be able to get it done soon, got 40% off with snapfax to use up.

I've just about persuaded my cowslick to get lost :) Still when I have a centre parting I can't get the two sides even, one curves up and then down nicely, one kinda goes along diagonally down a bit and then curves.
Thankfully my hair is long enough now to push it back much more so the centre parting looks a lot better.

I have a double cowslick (I think the cow thought my hair tasted nice) :( Hence the rather sticky up hair...it's either that, grow my hair stupid long or cut it convict short...bah :D

It looks lovely Sinead, I'm so glad you're pleased with it at last :) Your hair is always such gorgeous colours too. I'm very envious of that because every time I have a colour in (usually brown or a coppery red lowlights) it fades SO quickly that I just can't see the point in paying all that money to have it done in the first place. Haven't had it cut for months either, and it's a right mess. Might get it done at some point this week for the do at the weekend.

My hair is so dark it's the same for me too, even when it's been bleached first :confused:
