I am and I can get other peoples too so we are together, I am happy to do this but I suspect there will be a limit on how many we can get in one batch, although like Muse I suspect we'd be in the same area if we buy at the same time. If you want Karen then I'll get yours plus one other.

Sounds like a good deal ;)
Anyone else? I'm happy to get a maximum of 6 if I can but will need payment within a few days of me paying for them as it comes out of my current account not a credit card.
Obviously this is if there isn't a maximum of 2 or 4 or something silly.

Matblack
21-11-2007, 22:32
Absolutely no idea, sorry, maybe someone remembers how much the Muse ones were?
MB
About £45 weren't they? No more than £50.

Tickets limited to 6 per order, I have a definite 3 so far and unless I get any more requests I'll order 3 tomorrow.
MB
I'm giving Matt my credit card for tomorrow so that gives people a couple of weeks to pay.

I'd love to come, but not sure I can justify £50ish at the moment :( (although I prolly can in the spring :/)
Can we meet up for drinks/food beforehand and I'll mug someone on the way there?
:p

It's my birthday next thursday...
;)
Yesyesyesyesyesyes :D
Aitch has just received a PM with a lot of yesses :o
But yes :D
I'll love you both forever :D
Been wanting to see them for a good few years now :o
Aww I'd love to but monies would tell me otherwise!
Have to admit, when I saw them at the IOW festival I was a little (but not much) let down by their performance! I think I had super high expectations and had been bouncing off walls and people before they'd started with so much enthusiasm and with a bunch of people who didn't really love them quite as much as me! Not only that, but prodigy were on the night before and well. They r0x0red my b0x0rs :D

Thats the full 6, If anyone wants more they will have to organise their own.
As we said before we have no issues with buying the tickets but we can't wait indefinitely for the money, I know you're all good for it though.
MB
Let me know the total for two tickets and Ill ping the money over somehow :)
Thanks MB :) x

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr, website is bust and limiting users, I really much go to work at some point this morning
MB
You have to have a redial and seetickets and ticketmaster windows open simultaneously! :D
I would've helped out, but apart from Monkey Wrench (thanks Guitar Hero :p) and The Best of You, I can't really say I like anything else!
Good luck!

MB
Yay we have 6 tickets \o/
MB got through right before he had to go to work :D 3 cheers for MB :D

The seats are Level 5 which is top tier so not the best seats I am afraid but its what they allocated us, when we went to Muse you could see from wherever you were as they don't use any seats which would give limited sight lines :)
Tickets work out at £47.55 including the fees and as Aitch paid then you can send the money to the same account as the Swansea booking money (she posted it around here some place)
MB
I'll sort it out asap :) Probably be after the weekend if that's ok? Need to work out which account to send it from would be best :o

Can i just jump in i think that ticket price is a right rip-off, great band, great place, but thats just mad :(. Maybe i'm just cheap though :p
Also i think next time i go to a stadium gig, i'll get in the crowd sitting (well standing) was good but its just not the same...

Its pretty much the same price as Muse and most other stadium gigs I've seen. Although I've only been to one stadium gig before, it was a totally different experience to a normal gig (which I might pay up to £25 for depending on the artist) so for me worth it.
MB
My sister and her hubby will be there. You'll know her if you see her - she will be the one proposing to Dave.
Just to let you know there is no need to send me the money until the end of December guys :)
That's very, very handy :D
Same bank details as in the Swansea meet thread? I'll make sure I get it sorted so it goes out automatically after my payday :)

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!
Me and Daz were chatting last night... its like... 6 weeks on Saturday
Whats the plans then? We meeting at the stadium? We going sightseeing? We getting hotels near the stadium? Going for drinks after? What?!?! Enquiring minds wanna know :D
I heard this discussed this weekend ;)
If anyone wants to stay over at Chez BBx they are more than welcome :)
I will have been on a plane for 24hrs so will be pretty much useless :p but it will be nice to see peeps and a cheap option for yas :)

Supergrass is given, but Futureheads are awesome too :)
Aye, real good live act. Dont know if a stadium crowd will suit them but I'm pretty pleased with they're in :)
Apparently so :)

Yikes! This has crept up. What are people's current plans? Jen is coming to us on Friday night so Saturday morning really depends on what Jen fancies doing and how Matt's arm is. I think doors open at 4.30pm but not sure on playing times for supports.
Glad you got the tickets and card Dee :)
I need to speak to Lady Mei, as me and Daz are staying at hers Saturday night. We were going to get to hers for maybe 12/1pm, and go for a wander round London.
Anyone know what Pebs is doing?
Someone Mark knows has 2 tickets for Saturday night that he cant use.
If I'd known this time last week I would've bitten his arm off quicker than an arm biting machine. As it stands we cant go. I'm gutted :(

I'd take them but I could never afford them :(
The thing is as well as the price of the tickets, there's the petrol cost too. And you'd have the same problem :(
I'm sure my parents would have the kids for me.
:runs off to cry some more:
:(
Foos come on at 7.45pm apparently :)
Sorry yous guys ^^^, not rubbing it in :(
Can't believe how fast it's crept up
I don't really mind what we do Saturday :) Not really done much in a long while so be nice to see friends, whatever we do!
I was going to stay at BBxs Sat night but I slightly forgot I'm working earlies Sunday :( I'm never going to get the hang of this working rubbish :(

Foo Fighters...
At Wembley...
In just one word...
Epic
Those of you off to see them tomorrow will have a terrific time. Guaranteed.
One word of warning: they played Monkey Wrench after Everlong and all the 'eadcases that had gone off to the bar or toilet piled through to the front and weren't too fussy about who got knocked over on the way.

I'd go to this just for supergrass :D

I was a bit disappointed by Supergrass, and I'm a big fan and seen them twice before.
Too much of the new stuff and not enough crowd pleasing hits. I think they may have been testing out songs to decide on their festival set.
Sodding train lines! Sodding men!
Nearly at BBxs and I'm getting excited! Ive even got my lucky pants on just for Dave!

How was it? I had offered 2 free tickets for the friday night but it really was too short notice.
It was fantastic! We were a bit up in the clouds but the atmosphere was incredible, music was great, special guests were leg-ends, triangle solo was a triumph, fireworks were stupendous, so yeah, it wasn't bad ;)

Reading about the triangle solo did make I chuckle this morning.
I can honestly say that triangle solo was the best I can remember.

Well I have to say I really enjoyed the afternoon, if you put aside the sound quality which wasn't too good (although this is to be expected with a huge stadium gig), the whole thing was a great experience, not least of which was seeing most of Led Zeppelin and the fact they played Ramble On! On the Foos side they played all my favorites; Breakout, Learning to Fly etc and the fireworks topped it off :)
MB
Awesome gig and the Led Zep & fireworks encore was fantastic - it was clearly a really special gig for the Foos too which was sweet :)
Good to catch up with people although not much chatting time with everyone it was great to share the experience.
Really good fun :) Was great to see everyone again and gave me a welcome break :)
Thanks all :)
Wasnt the best place to catch up with friends, thats for sure :D
Was brilliant though, hearing Supergrass do a Police cover, the atmosphere was amazing and the fireworks topped off a fab gig. The 2 1/2 hours it took us to get back to Meis wasnt as good though :D
Was nice to see everyone :) albeit briefly - glad it was good :)
