£500 voluntary excess?
That does help a bit. Set it to 0 and see what you get then. :p

system is offline now, excess doesn't really matter as I probably wouldn't bother claiming anything below about a grand anyway as it would screw future insurance up

I found out recently how much my old company paid for insurance for me....
Was a shockingly large number - higher than the worth of some of the cars I drove. :D
The question is when are you shopping the car in and getting something manly? :p
As I told you on OCUK - it's not that great :p No wait... that wasn't me! ;)

couldn't believe that , what do some folks want ? :p;

when I find something I want, nothing is catching my eye at the moment
having said that my brother has just bought a 650i and it's awesome so I can only imagine what a M6 must be like :)
Probably not bad. Wonder what it would be for me now I'm 30... Might have a crack later :)

Sounds like a fair price to me.
My insurance on my jeep only costs 179 quid a year & that is with All the mods claimed. It has a soft top so is easy to break in to, has No alarm & has all the mods which make it an attractive thieving item. If i hit anyone at 5mph i would kill them, if i hit a car at 25mph I'd probably write it off but my insurance is the cheapest it has ever been :huh:
I'm not moaning but wtf do they use to work it out ?

When I went from the STI to the M3 it didn't make a huge difference, went up about £70 iirc

This should be good, see what tesco compare comes up with for me :D
OOh, Most declined to quote, and the cheapest of those that did was £1333 from the AA :o ouch! I assumed 1 year old and worth £25k. No idea what an M3 is worth. I think I'll stick with my Saab on classic policy for £125 :D Not sure what group that is, probably 16.
