So it was crap then :D

I can't remember much Shed 7 stuff, only going for gold....which, incidently, we were singing in the Bryn on Saturday afternoon (we may however have been singing the old gameshow theme tune with Matthew Kelly rather than the Shed 7 version).

You'd probably recognise about 50% of the songs they played. This is what they opened with:

Am sposed to be getting tickets to Kulashaker at the SB Empire... whats it like there... not sure which tickets to get... are the tickets better on level one and two?

Only been to Hammersmith Apollo and Brixton Academy.

Glad you had a great time! :D

Did they sing the song 'its getting better all the time?' or was that someone else?

That's the one I just posted!

The Empire's quite a small venue, no bigger (maybe even smaller) than the stage at Loughborough Uni. Depends what you want from the gig regarding what the best tickets are. The balconies give a great view but there might not be much room if you want to jump about a bit, and the lower balcony is probably better overall. If you're standing you can either get in the crowd or hang back where the steps lead up to the bar. From there you can see over the main crowd's heads and because it's small still have a decent view of the band.

Ah yeah, know the one. It's amazing how many songs you think you don't know but you do really.

Ah fantastic. Glad you enjoyed. Shed 7 are one of those bands who you actually know loads more songs than you think. Haven't listened to them for ages though. Will have to dig my album out :)
