Right i can't really decide what i want for christmas so i'm swaying towards a higher capacity portable disk.

i've been running a 250gb disk for a whilse now but its got about 2gb free and i just need more possiblities!

does anyone have any comments/advise/...

I've got the 500Gb one and it's great, but isn't it the 1Tb version that's loaded with DRM?

looks like that might just be to do with some software which comes with the drives.

looks like there is an app that allows you to access the drive via the internet and thats where the DRM is.

things are looking up...

Tempted, not much more expensive than getting 100 TY DVD-Rs now for backing data, and probably last longer and easier to access too.
