Potatos peeled, cut and ready to be boiled:

Parsnips cut and ready - the trick here is to remove the centre of the parsnip to stop them going hard when roasted:

Carrot and swede peeled and diced:

Cranberry sauce:

1 packet (12oz) of fresh organic cranberries
250ml of water
200g of sugar (adjust to taste)

Bring to the boil and simmer until perfect:

Incidentally, the wine was M&S Burgundy Chardonnay, was about £8 for the bottle and as far as Chardonnay goes, it was exceedingly nice!

I only helped out prepping and things like that :) I've no doubt that with a few goes I could get close to that but my Mum is the true master :)

I really ought to cook more, or at least post about it here. Maybe this thread will be the start, I dunno!

Why not? You obviously love it - share it! :) I don't really have much to share as I just make things up and am no masterchef, but you have decent experience about it :)
