Apologies if this has been posted before, and I know it should be in the Console section, but I wanted a larger audience to see this one.
Feel free to move it at your own discretion.

I was blown away when a friend showed this to me. This is some random home-brewer meddling on his own time, imagine what Nintendo for example could do with this idea.

Amazing stuff. Maybe at some point down the line this will help with the issue of peripheral vision in FPSs - something I've always thought would be great due to the amount of times you seem to get hit by unseen opponents in games just out of shot, whereas in real life you'd detect them.

Hahahahaha! Watching him made me laugh lots! Kermy kermy kermy!

It looks well wickedy woo the head tracking! I want to play with one! Awesome stuff!

That is REALLY impressive. When he's moving around with those targets on sticks, it looks like they're going to leap out of the TV at you

This guy is really showcasing just how clever the Wiimote is.

That second video is also really cool. I've added the guys blog (http://procrastineering.blogspot.com/).

That's very impressive. I would have though TrackIR already did the hardware side though?

That's very impressive. I would have though TrackIR already did the hardware side though?Maybe, but I'm impressed he managed to do it... by himself ;)
