View Full Version : What You up to then ?
I've just heard the neighbour from a few doors down have a go at next door as they were supposedly making a lot of noise. They are only teenagers and he started shouting his head to them. Got the girl really scared, by the time I got outside he had left, the twatbag. He really gets on my nerves as all he does is complain about noise, even when it's not a bother.
I have "The Illness" :( Ended up spending most of yesterday in bed :( Still - the show must go on...

Just about to drag my butt out of bed and get to the gym to do a 3 mile jog on the dreadmill
Just got in for the last day of the exhibition. I found a random pack of cola bottles lying around from yesterday so I'm currently nomming them before moving onto the caramel fudge I bought :D Oh and fizzy vimto too :D
Hope the last day goes well Pete :)
Everyone has been busy...go PCPebs with the paperwork! lol!
Am at Robs... still having car problems so trying to find a garage round here... making banoffee pie again in prep for Rob's bro and girlf coming round for sunday lunch :D
We are having Beef... never cooked it before so hope it goes ok!

Just watched Barnsley stuff Chelsea to make it through to the FA Cup semi finals :D Now just waiting for Malc to get online for some PGR action.
The Liverpool supporters on my train home were almost to the point of pi**ing themselves with laughter over that, especially as they also got stuffed by Barnsley. The Man U result just added the cherry on top. :)
I was hoping to be up to watch a giant roman candle on its space-bound journey, but I slept right through the alarm and everything else. Oh well. :o

Today I have sprayed all under neath my arches on the jeep & some of the chassis. Wierd thing to do on a Sunday morning but that's me :)
Then I did the washing up & did myself beans on Toast for me Sunday dinner ;D
Played a new mod on RFactor which has taken RFactor to another level. The mod is So good i spent 2 hours on it & did 5 laps of Nords to finish off ;D
Now i am considering destroying my system by installing Vista, although in the back of my head the voice that says Malc it plays BF2 & RF perfectly leave the kin thing Alone is growing louder & louder by the second.

3rd Handsomest Buck :D He got a rosette and everyone has said how lovely he is :D
Had a brilliant day even though I'm mostly deaded. Ended up organising the kitchen - looks like that's going to be my responsibility for the next one too. Looks like we not only broke even but made some profit too :D
So many squishy gorgeous ratties - might look at what varieties some of my others can go into - to be honest as they're all rescues they don't really have much chance against the breeder rats but it is still worth a try :)
Well done handsome buck Cmot!
Just an update - £65 on the raffle and £89 on the kitchen (and thats the profit :D ) There was also 50p a go on the agility course (probably made £5), £1 per rat entered (probably between £70 and £80) and £3 each for any hire show tanks (no idea but I know there were about 10-15 tanks available)
For a first show this is brilliant news :)

Today i have just finished a marathon 9 page essay on Athena and when i come home from dropping it off i will be playing crappy games for an hour then starting the next essay on landscape archaeology which is due on Friday :(
I thought they were judging the rat, not you ;D (except for the boy part)

Thanks everyone - I am very pleased :) I always knew he was a pretty boy and now other people agree too :D
Today though I am off work ill :( both rat cages need cleaning out, the house is a mess, I have backache from being in bed, a sore throat and a nose which seems to be emulating the amount of rain we have :( If I look in a mirror though I don't look ill so tomorrow when/if I go to work I'll end up with the looks that suggest I was pulling a sickie :(
I'm on the first day of 10 days off :)
Been quite productive today so far (for me anyway) :)
One load of washing done, another about to go in, been food shopping and planned meals for the next few nights, been out the garden - re-potted some herbs (my parsley is growing like its on steroids but my rosemary and basil look dead :( the chives I thought were dead are showing signs of life again though :) ) I'm having my first attempt at growing some from seed so sorted that out too.
Still left today is the washing up and clean out a rats cage :)
I'm feeling like **** courtesy of a cold :(
Missed a day's pay yesterday thanks to it, and feel no better so not visiting relatives today like I should be. Desperately hoping I improve a bit faster because I've been really looking forward to the 4 day weekend :(
Just been playing some mercury meltdown the the wii and I am completely stuck :( all the levels I have available to me I can't get past :( Got annoyed with myself so have given up for the time being
I have the hangover from hell :'(
My "friend" bought me a tequila last night, and for some idiotic reason I 1) drank it and 2) didn't go an immediately throw it up.
I am in pain :(
Right now chilling back home in Cornwall, parents away for the weekend so got the house to myself pretty much, kicking back watching the cricket with a few cold beers and the dog for company, not exactly rockstar living but very nice regardless :p
I am making easter eggs!
\o/
:D
I still feel crappy but I'm hoping my tastebuds return so I can enjoy some easter eggs :)
And we're having a big roast dinner tomorrow, got to be able to enjoy that
I have been playing tomb raider anniversary on the 360 - it is one of the ones mic got from love film.
I've never played any tomb raider before and am really enjoying it :D I will admit I got myself so lost at one point I had to go and find a walk through though :o :/
Just doing myself some food and I'm going back to it - work up with a sore throat so thought staying in the one room I can easily heat/control the temperature of was best to try and make sure I don't end up ill over my holiday (like I normally do :o )
I want to eat easter eggs :o
Starting to get ready for a birthday party. My mate's girlfriend's dad's 50th. Never met him, no idea why I'm invited!!! Think my mate wants someone to talk to.
I'm eating them early :p
I've got 3 thanks to many relatives :o So it's not like I'll run out anytime soon anyhow ;D
Got a Doctor Who one off my Grandmother, it comes with a soundchip that makes a noise like the Tardis ;D
I bet it's not bigger on the inside than the outside tho!

I got an easter egg this year, the first since I was about 12 :D
I've already eaten it though so tonight I'm watching a movie instead of going to a party :o Think I'm getting old!
Well I am having a nice pint of Spanish Lager. It's called Reserva 1925 and is 6.5% !! The good thing that appeals is the complete lack of fizz with most UK lagers. Suprisingly good, oh and I got four crates of the stuff for free in a competition o/ I suppose the fact its good is the fact i'm actually drinking lager..... normally this would never ever happen
Also surveying the effects of one coat of paint makes in my dining room. It used to be almost "agressive" with the eye offending pink. Simple coat of paint and it looks double the size and no longer a room you try and avoid :)

Meh, i'm meant to be packing to leave tomorrow, but really cba at present...
So far i've got bike stuff and laptop stuff together, i've yet to bother trying to work out what clothes and stuff i need to leave/take with me... Also need to to totally clean the flat as well... Arg!
I am drunk. Again. Nearly ended up in cheescagos. Again. Ended up in "the" however, with so much crunched glass my brand new shoes are ruined :'(
Got 2 girls numbers tho'
Woken up at 5am by my dogs, again. Took them out to the garden then sept for another hour. Woke up at 6.15ish and decided to take them out. In 1 hour (between 5 and 6) there is snow covering the village :D
Going to chill and do now today but watch tv and look online for some new speakers for new amp.
Looks like it started snowing here about 1/2 hour ago :D
My cold seems to have moved to one side of my face now which means opening my jaw is murder :(
Bit unfortunate as we're having a big roast dinner for lunch. On the plus side though, I do feel a bit better in myself :)
Well we've had a very lazy Easter break so far. I washed/waxed the car on Friday, but it was far too windy to change the oil, which is the job I've been waiting to do for a couple of weeks now. If I'd done it, it would have gone all over the drive. Leon made a box for his subs in the car on Friday. Apart from that, we've done bugger all really. I've read my book and he's been playing Gran Turismo.
We went to my parents' for dinner yesterday afternoon and then went out last night with my mates (from school) and had a really good night just catching up. Slept over my parents because we all shared a taxi back and pretty much everyone's parents live in the same village. Got up this morning, had breakfast cooked for us then went and practiced sliding out of junctions on the industrial estate (oo err!) and came home.
I can has Easter Eggs too for the first time in absolutely years!!! :D:D:D:D Leon bought me a Green & Black's egg (NOM+++++) and a mystery person (lady ;) ) with a Southampton post code sent me some little Green & Black's mini eggs, so today I shall mostly be a chocolate-eating fat bastard :D  Making spiced lamb chops with veggy cous cous for dinner.
Forecast is nice (fingers crossed) for tomorrow, so gardening and oil changing can occur then :)

Just vegging out at the moment. I'm thinking of having a dressing gown day - I have no need to go outdoors so there is no requirement for outdoor type clothing today.
I may shoot some bad dudes later (once the mild hangover has gone away).

It seems quite appealing.
I'll be confined to the computer room most of the day since my diminutive flatmate is currently watching cheesy movies on the Disney channel
I'll be having a lazy cooking day as well. Breakfast consisted of Tesco finest sweet chilli sausages in a sandwich. Lunch will be a tin of macaroni cheese with a smoked susage and dinner will be grilled smoked pancetta with linguini and a tub of Tesco finest carbonara sauce. I fancy some of your chops and cous cous - sounds yummy.

I am also in my dressing gown, however I am going to go freshen up. It feels like I can officially start the day and concentrate when I do and as I'm in the mood for some coding / tweaking of my site I need to feel ready to go not like I'm off to bed.

Well I suppose I can't say too much as I spent most of the weekend watching a 2 and a half men marathon on Paramount.
But then again I had a bad cold so my taste in TV was non existent because of that :p
Been doing some gardening today planting my new corkscrew hazel and putting up wires on the fences to train my climbers up. Feel like I've acomplished quite a lot this morning. It's bloody cold/windy outside though so I've come in to thaw out for a bit :)
Just waiting for my bread to finish baking, then I can have my dinner :D
This weekend I took Kari out to see "Step Up 2: The Streets" on Friday night which wasn't as bad as I was expecting (cheesy in places, but better than the first, IMO.)
Saturday was a bit of a chill out day, neither of us really felt all that much like doing anything so we just lazed around, watched Tomorrow Never Dies, cooked Fajitas and then watched The Day After Tomorrow. Too many films with "tomorrow"in the title.. Kari discovered the greatness that is toasted Hot Cross Buns.. by stealing half of mine. Typical woman :)
She also got to run around in the snow. Its only the third time in her life she's ever been in it and she was ecstatic.. almost like a 4 year old :)
Sunday we went to my old church in the morning, caught up with folks I've not seen in ages, and then after lunch headed down to seaford for a blow along the sea front. Lovely and refreshing, it was positively blowing a gale! Showed Kari how to skim pebbles. The beach near her is entirely sandy so she's never been introduced to pebble skimming before, headed back and played a few board games in the evening. Monday was off to my sisters in Welwyn Garden City, to meet up with her and my Aunt. Great to see them and spend time with both again.. Then for me it was a quick hop to the station and down to London whilst my parents went home and took Kari back to Holmsted.
Sounds like you've had a lovely weekend, Garp :) Reading that makes me want to go to the seaside and skim pebbles now!! Pity our nearest coastline is Skegness... eurgh!!
I managed to keep her still for just long enough to take a photograph:

You'll probably have off an extra day in May (probably the 2nd bank holiday), as well as an extra one in August. We had the exact same thing when I worked at the University of Leeds and I never understood why either, I just smiled and accepted it :D
Not up to much exciting at the moment, working hard, gymming hard, though I did have 6 days off around easter which was most welcomed. Just counting the days till New York now. Yeah, nothing really exciting to report :( I kinda want to do some new things, I've got an itch to try things - need to clear my debts (nearly done now!) first though.
House full of sick people yet again. Don't know what's wrong with us all lately, seem to catch everything going, although I suppose with the kids at school and pre-school it's inevitable.
Cliff is ill too this time and it seems like the flu that he, Caitlin and Morgan have. Ethan and me seem fine so far, I have a cold but that's it, touch wood.
Did have plans to go out a lot as it's half term but haven't been able to so far, they've been ill since Friday too so missed out on Easter roast, I didn't bother making one as they couldn't eat. Still have temps of 104 too so if they aren't feeling better later I shall call the drs and see what they think.
It's all fun here.
House full of sick people yet again.
We're living in the Plague House too, Georgie's got D&V and a really high temp (and won't take any Calpol), Josh was sick yesterday and Janet's just woken up feeling sick :(
I'm due back at work on Sunday after 2 weeks off. Bets on me coming down with it on Saturday?

It's horrible isn't it. I'm still waiting to catch it too, I hope I don't though because I really hate being sick, almost to the point of phobic. Caitlin was sick in the night again too.
Have you seen the medicine syringes? They are useful for getting medicine down a child who isn't keen, normally use them with Ethan.
We had a lovely bank hols weekend :) Friday went to Rob's parents to pick up his car which is now fixed (hurrah!) and went bowling with his mate and girlf and out to Prezzo - yum! I didn't get a strike :( but has numerous goes on DDR :D
Saturday drove down to my parents for a couple of nights, the beer festival was on, but was a bit of a washout and I didn't know anyone (shock horror!) met up with some friends for lunch on the sunday... other than that saw mum and dad who I haven't seen since Christmas which was looooverly because they fed us well with cake and food and desserts and packed us off with even more :D
Dave was in Dublin so didn't get to see him :( monday we drove home in the snow and surprisingly clear roads (we were lucky) and we both went out for a run to run off all the guilt of feeding our faces. (well me not him)
I got a little Lindt bunny and an Aero egg from mum and dad oh and shortbread from Rob's parents as I told them I didn't like choc :p hee hee!!!
Big hugs to the poorly people.... and boooooooooo to being back at work, but its wednesday so two more days left! :D

I'm currently sat in work, which for once isn't as bad as it seems. I'm the only technician in (potentially very bad) but as it's still half term we only have a few teachers in doing revision classes, and a very other clerical staff. I've already done all the work for the week pretty much, so all I have to do for the rest of the week is put up and take down projectors that are needed for each revision class (about 2-4 per day). With that all done, I'm now sat in a warm office, about to play Footy Manager 2008, while watching Mallrats via another computer. I has food and drink as well, so not a bad situation all around :D
Sounds like a productive day Davey :D I'm taking my Mum to hospital to visit her doctor and then I might clean my desk. I have 17 empty cans of coke on it. I reckon it'll only take a couple more before they over power me and if they take me there'll be no stopping them!

I'm a bit erk! at the moment. I have some wierd rash thing on my face, neck and hands which itches and burrrrrns and is driving me nuts!! I went to the GP this morning and got some steroid cream which will hopefully see it off pronto. Luckily (or not ;) ) it doesn;t look too bad, I look a bit flushed unless you're really up close.
The girls are OK, Sophie is a bit of a headache atm but I think she's just flexing her prepubescent muscles. Joy. Childcare went totally Pete Tong this month, MUCH love to Mrs Huddy who is now chief Pebblettes tamer!
Work is work. Up and down more than a tarts knickers! One minute I think 'yeah, I can do this!' and then next I wonder who the hell am I kidding. Had another sudden death to deal with yesterday which is rough (both the ones I've done have been youngish people who went out of the blue leaving devastated families) Goods days outweigh the bad though, although 3 weeks to independance is scaring me silly.
I feel like Im either going to bed, getting up, working or shopping. I'm skinter than I've been in a long time, I hardly see the girls atm, I barely see my friends let alone speak to them, I itch, I have PMT, Ive run out of easter eggs, I've put on weight (hmmmm!!! lol) and I think the cats ill cause he wont leave me alone!

Play was great, though not as scary as it could have been. Unfortunately I had a bunch of year 11s or something similar present who made noises at inappropriate times which really screwed up the atmosphere setting. Had a fantastic seat, only a few rows back from the stage and almost slap bang in the middle. Both actors were superb, and the way they managed to set the scene and portray all the characters with such a scarcity of props really added something to the play. I almost started to believe I was seeing the fabled Woman In Black myself.

I saw that advertised when we were through recently. I'd love to see that.
Hope you enjoy it :)

Had an absolutely brilliant time. We saw La Nouba in Florida which was more circus style (acrobats and such), while this was more music based with some acrobatic dancers and the like. Still some excellent entertainment to go along with the music, including a very sexy girl with a great arse spinning multiple hula hoops around herself at once. Very enjoyable, and had a McDonalds afterwads, winner all around :D

Aw, *hugs* :) I always say as long as the good days outweight the bad days, then that's fine with me :)
And Lozza, OW! How did you manage that?
