Another alternative - PrimoPDF (http://www.primopdf.com/). I have it installed on all my boxen and use it for any documents I want to keep.

Works much the same as CutePDF from what I can tell.

I use CutePDF at work. I was working on an app that kept on printing, so I've ended up with tons of PDF files (which is better than wasted paper!).

Same reason I got PrimoPDF originally. Was adding print support to part of our software and I think I'd have got through a few reams of paper without. :)
