Hopefully this is ok :)

Anyone got a 9700 pro card I could buy off them?
Had a quick look at the MM but really I'd rather buy off a friend just for principles sake.

Only needs to be a 9700 pro, nothing better, as it's just to go into my xp2200 system for when I have weekends home.

Does it have to be that card? I might have an AGP video card knocking around somewhere, but it wont be ATI.

Depends what card it is :)
I want one of roughly that quality, and admittedly I don't know much about nvidias of that generation.

Well the Nvidia variant would be a 5800 or better. How much are you willing to spend?

I took a 9800XT out of one system and put in a 9600XT in it's place, then RMA'd the 9800XT.

Few months later, there arrives an X1800XT. I never got around to swapping it back for the 9600XT though, so it's still boxed.

I really ought to use it, or sell it, or something. :)

I have a 9600 XT - the middle-of-the-road version. It's not too bad, but a 9700 is far better as it was the top-line version. Could sell mine but I'm going away, so if you can't get a 97 then the 96 series (CS's) should be fine :)

Bloody hell that thread got busy while I was at work.
Erm.....I don't know how much they're worth tbh :/

I'd ideally like a 9700pro or 9800pro (Sorry Beanie), someone give me a price. I honestly don't know these days :(

Congrats

I'll rip it out and bring it to the BBQ, the price?

One bottle of Speyside malt (under £30) to be shared at the BBQ ;)

I'm hoping he can get them on the plane. Anything he brings would have to be picked up after security, and then hope they let them through the airside checks (I think it's only flights to the US that no liquids whatsoever are allowed).

I'm afraid even if I'd got Jen's PM in time, I wouldn't have been able to carry it on the plane - there was no liquids allowed on any flights today - people were having bottles of water confiscated :(

Stan :)

Well, at least you were able to travel, that's a godsend in itself at the moment.

Bit too high spec for my xp2200 I think, better cards than my main rig has :p
