I was going through google maps looking for anything local that looked like it might be a good place to play with my new 10-20 and found this reservoir, so I went down there and got a few this evening. I quite like them, I liked the colours that'd come out, so decided to make something of the colours seeing as neither the sky or the water were sufficiently angry to be interesting on their own!
C&C welcome, landscapes are new to me.

Oooh lovely. I saw the same sunset from the chippy earlier and thought "Damn you sunset!" The first is definitely my fave due to the jetty leading you into the image.
They're awesome Rob. First one is great, as Pete says, the jetty leads you in. I also love the colour in the last one. The rich blue in the sky really stands out against the red. I can imagine those being printed onto canvas and hung on the wall :)
love em. wish i had a car now so i could get over to the snake's pass for some of my own!!

Great pictures. What settings did you use? The exposure is spot on.
They're absolutely beautiful, Rob. I love the first one, and the colours/tree in the last one look good too imo. Fingers crossed for a nice weekend :)

1/15th, f11, 10mm, ISO200 - This one's actually HDR as well but I tried to keep it subtle. Hopefully it doesn't actually look like HDR :D
