anyone else going to anything?

i hadn't planned on it till yesterday when the T in the park lineup was announced. got myself a pair of weekend camping tickets this morning so nice and pleased with that.

RATM have been someone i've wanted to see since i was 15 but due to them not touring here and then splitting up twas sadly never possible. whole load of electro techno nonsense that's totally got my vote as well :D

Apparently something called One Big Weekend is in Maidstone this year, it not something I'm familiar with but apparently we stand a chance of getting free tickets because we live in the town centre, which is nice :)

Not got any other festivals planned but quite a few gigs on the cards

Pee in the Dark was £180 for a weekend camping ticket this year! Mental.
I'd have loved to have gone but i'm away that weekend.

Radio one free concert thing, the first one of many the hold at various place around the UK each year

Yep, they actually had some good bands last year, when I heard about it I was expecting boy bands but it would seem its more indie orientated :)

Tickets are by lottery based on postcode so hopefully no queueing

It's all done online :) Not sure if they have to offer tickets at a box office because it's a free gig.

Yeah its quite expensive, but well well worth it when you look at the confimed line-up. Apart from this fesitval i've not got anything else booked though. That should be it for the year :D I've wanted to see RATM for absolutely ages, saw Audioslave but it was right....

it's 170 inc booking fee. for a 3 day festival that's not too bad really.

I saw RATM years ago and they were awesome, and considered going to see them again when I heard the ine up but it's just too much money these days for me :(
