He's a Svalbard bear, a polar bear, and although I like cold places I'm not planing to brave the North Pole to go and stroke him :D

The WWF are campaigning about global warming and plight of the polar bear so I'm giving them some money each month for this :)

With this programme you don't get to adopt an individual, the Svalbard Bears are a group but we will get up dates and I will post them as they come through.

About the Svalbard polar bears: The polar bears are a group of male and female bears aged between 5 and 12 years old. They live in the Svalbard archipelago in the Arctic, which belongs to Norway. Svalbard is made up of three larger islands and numerous smaller islands and approximately 60% of the archipelago is covered in glaciers.
