I could only make the Friday evening 'street' section this year, which I was a bit disappointed with as the forest stages are brilliant, day lit and you can get MUCH closer to the action. Plus it's on gravel then not tarmac. Backdrops are nicer too.

Anyway, here are the best (well, my favourites) of what I managed last night.

Preserving a sense of speed is damn hard when the flash freezes everything but it was way too dark to get anything without it (believe me I tried) even with my 50mm at 1.8 :(

There are some nice cars and some mental drivers too. I didn't get many decent pictures though.

Loads of Evos, Imprezas, Freelanders/Discoverys, couple of 6R4s and a few other bits and bobs.

The forest stages are definitely the bits to go to though I didn't know it was still on tomorrow.

edit - it isn't on tomorrow, it finished tonight. The same Hyundai Accent that won it last year won it again.

what?! one of Jaspers friends lives in Verwood and he invited us over to watch it with him - what a disappointment :(

I might get some videos from my phone up on youtube later if that'll ease the pain :p
