Bargain I think :)
Anybody else got this? Must say I'm quite tempted.
I have one of the other models which is nearly identical and it works well. Not much more you can say really. At £29 it really is a bargain though, replacement blades for it will be about that.
never been to sure on these... i've got a philishave turbovac t863 -

which does a decent job of beard trimming but i've never had much faith in that style of razor, if i want something that close i've always just gone with the mach 3... any longer and my turbovac does a decentish job.
Always been a wet shaver myself but getting a bit bored with the whole routine. Is a shaver like this going to save me much time and hassle?
I've ordered one, for the price i think it's worth a pun.
That's what I was thinking. If I'm ever going to try one, I'd rather risk £30 than £100 odd.

If you shave every day an electric wins hands down, if like me you're lazy and shave maybe twice a week - don't bother with an electric as it'll pull the hell out of your face and give you a nasty rash.
I have an electric, some philishave £150 thing that my mum got me a couple of christmases ago and if I use it every day it's so much quicker.
The fact is that replacement blades cost that much makes thie unit itself practically free ! :D
I'm tempted, even though I've always wet shaved. Hmm.
You sound the same as me Belmit. I'm tempted to see if I'll get on with it and if it's any easier or quicker....but I don't want to spend £30 if it isn't. But then again, £30 is a much better risk than £100 to find out you don't like it.
Exactly. I'm in two minds. I like the idea of the convenience, and even the fact that it won't be as close as a wet shave. I only shave a couple of times a week but I don't like that fresh-faced look on the first day - much prefer the short stubble 24 hours later. I'm wondering if this will give that same look.

I was in the middle of typing out a big response with a few analogies in it, then realised that this is meant to be a lot more than it is ;D
Give it a go :)
I'm exactly the same as you mr cheese.... Shave every couple of days but generally end up making a mess - I am a little concerned that an electric one would cause irritation though...

if you shave every couple of days, yes it will definately cause irritation.

Around the neck is where I get irritation, none whatsoever on my face.
My is being shipped soon ! :)
I have a very similar one I got about 4-5 years ago for £60 I think, needs new blades but does the job for me as I'm far too lazy to wet shave every day! (Albeit haven't shaved in 2 months now :P)
Got it today, well built and can even open the top bit and rinse clean. Very nice product for £29, not sure it's worth £90, prob in the £60 bracket if i were to pay full wack for it.
