Where's My Computer gone?

My Computer & My Network Places have disappeared off my desktop. OS is XP. Have tried the search function and changing to XP start menu and back to Classic to no avail.

Help :confused:

Right click desktop > Properties
Desktop Tab > Customise Desktop
Tickboxes for the desktop icons

That should do it :)

:huh: I've never had them appear there - that was the old pre-XP days. :huh:

Anyway, you can get them back as follows:

Right click somewhere empty on the desktop.
Click Properties.
Click the 'Desktop'.
Click 'Customize Desktop'.
Select what you want.
Click OK, twice.
