I was in Newport (rough as a badgers *rse, clart) on my Boxercise course and the instructor was from central London and couldn't believe how many sirens were going off. We heard about 3 cars heading off in one direction at one point followed by another one heading in the opposite direction a few minutes later. He reckoned the 2nd car had said 'This is going to be a long one lads - I'll pop back to the station and put the kettle on.'

Anyone who saw Traffic Cops tonight will know this to be FACT. Only problem is they had young schoolchildren in charge of the horn, with the inevitable randomness that followed. :D
