I wandered in for my tea (stir-fry, if anyone's interested) and asked the usual question "what's this on the telly?"
I was told that it's Hanna Montana which for some reason rang a bell.
I suddenly remembered that I'd seen some articles on the BBC news site this week about the girl who plays her.
So I checked and I was right.
Miley Cyrus, star of Disney's Hannah Montana, has apologised over photos of the teen star which are due to be published in Vanity Fair magazine.
Cyrus, 15-year-old daughter of singer Billy Ray, said she was embarrassed by the Annie Leibovitz photos.
"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."
Wow, must be pretty bad pictures.
She continues.
"I apologise to my fans who I care so deeply about," she said in a statement.
Sheesh, this is awful. I guess they must have tricked her into getting her baps out or something like that.
I mean, she's been manipulated.
The Disney Channel, which airs hit show Hannah Montana, accused the magazine of trying to manipulate the young star.
"A situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines," said a statement released by Disney.
But it's not just this once..... It's happened before.
Cyrus has also apologised over a second set of photos currently circulating on the internet.
The images show Cyrus draped over the lap of a former boyfriend, while another shows her revealing part of a green bra.
Revealing part of a green bra? OMG, the world is about to end!
So I did a quick search and I found the picture that she's apologising for.

WHAT?
Is that it?
I can't believe this, I'm absolutely gobsmacked by it. There's more flesh on show by girls that age on a school bus! It's just like wearing a backless frock and heaven forbid that someone go to a beach or public swimming pool and see girls wearing bathing costumes!
I have to agree that there's some manipulation going on here. By the girl in question and Disney. All publicity is good publicity, right?
Pathetic, truly pathetic.
