As a proud wearer of the kilt, I heartily approve :cool:

It never ceases to amaze me how many people are so curious about the kilt and, moreso, what is worn under it. Whenever I wear mine, I get several people asking me if I'm "A true Scotsman" and asking for a look. There are some (usually women) who don't even bother asking and just lift the hem and then burst into giggles. I shudder to think what would happen if I started lifting up women's skirts to see if they were wearing underwear :shocked:

ALTHOUGH this one street performer in Coven Gardens was wearing a kilt and fluorescent orange underwear that he made sure the audience saw, and THAT was pretty darn funny.

Real men do indeed wear kilts, there is something very pleasant about the freedom you get wearing a kilt and almost invariably other people seem to enjoy the fact you are wearing one as well which is quite nice.

However a group of middle aged women on a hen party never fails to turn my blood to ice when I'm wearing a kilt because I know that I'll be extremely lucky to escape with anything less than their hands exploring places that are usually reserved for girlfriends and usually it is more like minor sexual assault. The humanity people, oh the humanity. :eek:
