That little rust spot has been bugging the hell out me to the point of me not waxing that side.

Took the grinder to it.

Add in a little JB Cold Weld liquid steel as filler...

Throw on some primer.

And a little rattle can paint that was as close a match as I could find. I had to take a little drive into town before I could snap a final picture, so it got all dirty. I'm going to let it sit overnight and wash it then buff it out tomorrow. I'll then throw on a coat of wax to the whole side and take another picture.

Given the state of your truck i'm amazed you are worried by that little speck :D Which motor is this? You seem to have loads

It's my little Chevy S-10 Blazer. I've only got the truck, the Blazer and my wife's Neon now. The truck is too far gone to even think about, but the Blazer is worth salvaging.

It's painful to read this thread, I hate rust removal :D

Heh, seen my truck lately? On that it's not considered rust removal as much as it is rust replacement!! I mean, it's missing a 1 foot by 2 foot section of the rear of the driver's side at the back!! The whole area from the rear wheel to the bumper a foot up from the bottom just isn't there anymore...
