I Loved x files to bits when it first came out & fancied Skully, which used to freak me out a bit as she is a pasty (<does that word say pay-stee) faced miserable looking mare.
Cool :D
Oh and me too :D
I remember seeing the first one at the cinema underage with my friend, we were really worried someone would notice we were underage ;D Definitely have to go with her for this one.

Is Skully in it & has she still got a Bob ?
I'd shag out with a decent Bob ;D
I've never seen the X-files.
Get your sexy butt down here missy and we'll have an x-file marathon :D I have them all on DVD...shouldn't take too long
Cool, this might give me the kick I need to finish watching the series from season 5 onwards.

We've just started our X-Files marathon, got through the first video (yes, video!) of season 1 last night.
I haven't seen that many although Phil has seen them all.

IIRC.. some dude (name was one with their birth year in their username I think), but someone on OcUK was obsessed with Scully, thought she was the sexiest woman on the planet. Someone else came out in retaliation with the description of her as "Moonpig"

I forget how the series ended. Was mulder ever found?

I'm looking forward to this. Anything that combines Aliens and Gillian Anderson can only be a good thing.

Can't wait for more X files.

Hopefully you won't need to know what happened in the series to enjoy the film. IIRC it went downhill when Terminator man came in to replace Mulder and then the BBC started to dick around with the scheduling. In the days before Sky+ there wasn't a chance in hell I could (be bothered) to keep up.
Duchovny has aged quite a bit but he was cracking in Californication so hopes are high.
I'm looking forward to it but I've still got a feeling it'll be crap ;D But I don't care :D

I can't shake the feeling that this is a frantic cash grab that will do nothing but dishonour the brilliance of the X-Files.:(
I'd love a Lone Gunmen movie though. (It would have to be a prequel of sorts of course)

It's only short and well worth it especially if you're a fan.
Is it sad that I would love to go to this (http://www.myvue.com/thexfiles/index.asp?SessionID=0F61B3F8E29440B09FC2DF3DBA3A80 BB&cn=1&ci=36&ln=1&hi=614)? :o
I so know this is going to be naff/cheesy/whatever but I still can't wait *bouncebouncebounce* :D
Not sad at all! And you get a poster!!
Ooh a poster :D
I'll be going to see this Wednesday :)
I'll probs have to hang on til my leg is better. Think their only disabled spaces are at the front which are pants seats anyway :/
Mic just booked tickets for the 12:01 showing :D :D :D
he was calling me sad as he did it :o

Back in the day I used to fantasise Gillian Anderson and my old English teacher doing some lezzie time. Not any more tbh.
I don't think I will see this film unless it's amazing. I'm still annoyed about Indiana Jones lol :/
I don't think I will see this film unless it's amazing.
Thats the thing - even if it is crap I will still completely enjoy it - its x-files :D
Less than 2 hours :D

I'll probably be coming in and going straight to bed tonight but I'll try and form a coherent post tomorrow at work ;D (film finishes 2:10, get to bed about 2:45-3, get up 6:30 ;D )
Don't forget spoiler tags :D
I'm going either tomorrow or Wednesday :)
Bah to you all :p
/pokes broken leg inthe eye :(
(hope you all enjoy it)
/pokes broken leg inthe eye :(
No wonder your leg's bad if it's grown an eye!
Not too bad a movie :)
Make sure you stay to end of credits too
:D Well I enjoyed that :D
TBH it was just like one long episode.
Very much one of the monster of the week style episodes - no aliens or OTT "x-fileness", little bit too much of the relationship stuff but then I was never into that storyline anyway, SKINNER!!! a few LOL bits ("He'll call first. ... I know Mulder. He wouldn't do anything crazy.....He wouldn't do anything *overly* crazy").
I wouldn't say you have to stay through the credits - there is something but nothing huge/really important.
Went to see it this afternoon to cheer myself up, and it did the trick a treat :)
Really enjoyed it :D I'd definitely recommend waiting till the end of the credits.
Really pleased to see a monster of the week type one. I don't mind the conspiracy stuff but it was starting to get tedious near the end of the show. I'm a sap so I love all the relationship stuff (it's because I want Mulder ;D) and the end after the credits meant I left in a feel good mood. Nerd alert: Noticed on Mulder's phone, it had a few surnames listed of a few directors or writers of the show.
It's made me want to watch the series all over again :D

Thankyou muchly!
I was wondering, and I really dont mind it being spoilt...
Are they a couple now then? And whats this about a bed scene?
There is a bed scene - she complains about him having a scratchy beard when he kisses her. And yeah for all intents and purposes they are a couple

I see, ta for that, and I have one more question and then I promise to shut up and just bloody well take myself to see it on Monday....
I cant remember what happened to Scullys baby, William can somebody remind me, or is he mentioned in the film?
They make a sweet couple too :D
William is mentioned in the film. I couldn't remember what happened to him either so googled it when I got home :o He was put up for adoption when he was just under a year old because Scully was worried he was in danger.
I love how the smileys appear in spoiler tags :)

LOVED IT!
Anyone who was addicted to the show will really enjoy this film, was brilliant to see the two of them together again, and even though they didnt chuck the old alien in, I still really enjoyed watching it.
Stayed til the end as well and caught that bit, lets hope they make another.
Few giggles thrown in as well.
Now I want the new version of the song for my phone.
;D
There is apparently "ideas" for another film but it depends upon the success of this one :)
