Yes darling, some guy knocked over my paperwork and I went mental...

Notice: Someone quickly steps in and wrenches the axe from out of his hands, but they still leave him to wreck havoc in the office and even throw CRT monitors at women there. Surely a couple of them could have gone in and wrestled him to the ground or something whilst security or police were called?

i find it hard to believe they just stood aside and watched him do this. I imagine he was using some pretty colorful language whilst breaking things, so maybe the combo of yelling obscenities and destroying the workplace were intimidating to some.

second angle. Folks did eventually get in and deal with him. Took them long enough though!

Oh my god what a cock. I'd have lamped him within seconds of him throwing that monitor at that woman...

Axe or no axe, I would have been in there too.

Without getting the audio from that second clip cleaned up it's impossible to tell if there was provocation going on (there was certainly a lot of noise), but still, it's clear who is at fault, so I can only concur with...

What a douche.

Agreed. If I was the guy he'd hit over the head with the keyboard he'd have been on his back before picking the monitor up.

There was the perfect opportunity too. Just after he hit the first guy over the head, he swept his colleagues stuff onto the floor and put himself completely off balance. Would have been easy to knock him down or something at that stage.

What really baffled me was the security guy that took the axe off him. He pushed back and forth, got the guy over as he finally got hold of the axe and then ran away.
