Rfactor, Caterham World Champs

Thought I would take the chance to big myself up a bit as I am currently 2nd in the World in the Caterham World Championships :shocked: + :cool:
I am only 2nd to the guy who did the physics for the mod as well & honestly cannot believe I am so highly placed. Last time the Caterham mod was the RSC World Champs I finished 11th, Although chuffed with that I wanted a top ten really. I was 4th when I looked Saturday & thought to myself I could improve on a few of my times & maybe get 3rd. I just checked & I am kin 2nd :D
Basically the Champs are held on 5 different tracks hosted on a RSC server, All your lap times & race results are logged back to RSC & a table is set up. You can go on the server at any time & set your times/race etc & then after a certaain period the Champs end & places are stated.
I am expecting the 3rd & 4th placed drivers to have a go at my times over the next few days & things will shuffle about until the end. I know I can improve on my times on 2 out of the 5 tracks so I'll be working on that until the Champs end.
Anyway just chuffed to be still competing at my ripe old age :cool:
2nd in the World who'd have thought it ;D

I played rfactor briefly but I'm absolutely shocking at racing sims like that and I knew I didn't have the time to devote to improving. So I know it's impressive stuff :)

Reality hits home as the Aliens come out to play :huh:
(Aliens = Sim name for the Uber fast Dudes ;))
I've dropped down to 7th now which is much more realistic but I remember the time when I Was 2nd in the World :p.
It'll teach me to rest on my Laural's though as all I have been doing lately is playing my new account on BF2. Starting a new account on BF2 is Awesome fun, Ganking high rankers as a Nub is Hilarious & I have already been banned from 3 servers in 7 hours of play ;D
I've been proper busy lately & it's great to come back home & just fire up BF2 or RF & lose a few hours & forget about everything :cool:
I've got a clear 3 days of fun & messing ahead of me though & after this week I am damn sure I am going to make the most of it.
