Been playing with a few priorities on my lovefilm lists and spotted something that I couldnt' believe wasn't a bug. But, it's 100% correct according to their support people.
In this example - I'm gong to use The Dads Army TV Series. 8 seperate titles.
I added them all to my TV list. They went in as medium priority as normal. I set the Series 1 and 2, 2 disk set to a high priority so I get them sooner and give me something non violent to watch at work. ;)
Then added Young Indiana Jones Volumes 1-3 to my TV list. Spotted that all 8 of the Dads Army titles had been set to high priority. So I change all but Series 1 and 2 set to low priority and save.
It set all of the Dads Army series sets to a low priority.
Try the same thing with Young Indiana Jones, Young Ones - it's all the same. Change one series' priority - all series of that show changes.
Sent a nice email to support asking if this was normal *I didn't used to be - I have had other series come in the order I requested them by moving say series 3 up to high and leaving 1 and 2 on low* and the answer was:
We are now able to offer a facility for consecutive series to be sent in the correct order. This is automated and will permit you to add multiple seasons from a particular series title and to ensure that the later seasons are not sent before the preceding seasons. As this is entirely automated, you need take no action to select it when adding a title.
I don't want that. Not when they can't get the disk order correct to start with. When I have never watched any of Firefly - I don't want disk 2 first. I want control of what priority is what.
I've got a way around it at the moment - it's doubled my list count though. I used to have Movies, TV and Motorsport - now I have Movies, Movies Hi, TV, TV Hi, Motorsport and Motorsport Hi and I only move the items I want on a high priority onto the Hi queues - but this is bloody rediculous really.
Sorry... Ramble over.
