Theres a woman and her four kids living next door, and today for some reason theyve decided to have a party. I thought at first it was one of the local schools fayre or something, due to there being someone on a microphone and lots of loud music, but no, i've just stuck my head out the door, and theyre all out there in the swimming pool with a karaoke machine singing very badly, and generally being loud and annoying. They must have all invited their mates round, cos theres about 20 of them in and around the pool, and arguing over whos turn it is to sing badly next.

Anyone got a shot gun? ;D

Sounds much like my next door neighbours any weekend the sun is out.
Luckily they're brilliant neighbours otherwise (always extremely helpful which is particularly handy at the moment) but it can get annoying.
Personally I entertain myself by listening to their random conversations :D

"This could be the start
Of something new
It feels so right
To be here with you (ooh)
And now looking in your eyes
I feel in my heart (feel in my heart)
The start of something new"

NIN i would say with some Disturbed in the mix, then Trivium and Kilswitch Engage to follow and anything else that is loud to act as the antidote to cheesy music

Good choice, although my mate had a cd of "Experimental 10th Century Japanese Music". It sounded like someone pulling rusty nails out of a cat that was being strangled. I think it contained the brown note too!

SCM
29-06-2008, 21:04
The brown note doesn't exist mythbusters disproved it in a usual OTT way but the music would defintely do the job of annoying the neighbours.

No we point the speakers towards their garden so all the noise goes that way so furthest point in house away from the speaker bank would be safe :)

I know but listening to it made me want to crap my internal organs out just so as I could stuff them in my ears to muffle the noise.

Hell, play my entire collection and they'll run screaming for the hills converting back to 5th century monks.

I have everything from opera (Pavoratti) to country western (Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks) to classical (Brahms, Beethoven, etc) to death metal (Lamb of God) to stuff that doesn't belong in ANY genre (Dark Materia).

Mind you, you might have to move out for a couple days so you don't go completely batty by the time Yanni finishes up the alphabetical listing...

Oh, I also have somewhere around 5 hours of bagpipe music in there, too. :D
