LMAO! Hahahhahaa!
Belmit! Could you write and play a rocket song for picky?!!? :D
Probably. It would have to involve innuendo though and therefore be unsuitable for the purposes intended. :D
They're fooooourteen years old and go to an all boys school! They won't have a clue!
Just figured Def Leppard - Rocket
"I will be your ROCKET, Yeah, Satellite of Loove!"
He's goona play it! Yaaaaaaaay! :D
Final Countdown - Europe. Its old, its hair metal but it is rocket/space related and still rocks!!!!!

And if you are little bit more relaxed about the songs themes but the bands are still related to space and or space travel.
Space - Female Of The Species (Or Neighbourhood if you prefer)
Love and Rockets - So Alive
Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight

Chris De Burgh - A Spaceman Came Travelling.

"Supermassive Black Hole" and "Starlight" - Muse
"Sleeping Satelite" Tasmin Archer (?)
"Life on Mars" David Bowie
Will think of more :)
BB x
Chris De Burgh - A Spaceman Came Travelling.

'tis indeed, good choice.
A Flock Of Seagulls - Space Age Love Song
Alan Parsons Project - Eye In The Sky
Pink Floyd - The Great Gig In The Sky (off DSOTM)
The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar
King Harvest - Dancing In The Moonlight (or the Toploader version if you prefer)
And my apologies Mark, I should have known better. :p :D
You forgot the most famous one-hit-wonder!!
Peter Schilling - Major Tom (http://speakyourmindbrownsville.com/downloads/Peter%20Schilling%20-%20Major%20Tom.mp3)
And after reading SPW's post above reminded me of another:
Pink Floyd - Learning to Fly (http://www.lostino.com/Media/Pink%20Floyd%20-%20Learning%20to%20Fly.mp3)
Since when did schoolkids get to listen to music in class anyway? Playing with water rockets is enough of a doss for 14 year olds as it is without getting music as well.
World's gone soft I tell thee.
