View Full Version : If you had a TV show...
... and it was all about you (like the Truman show)...
What would your opening theme tune be and why!?!?
ooooh thats just reminded me i put the truman show soundtrack on my ipod im going to listen to that now!
Sorry that was completely irrelevant to the actual question :-)
Meredith Brooks - Bitch (someone once said I could switch personalities like the song)
Or more likely:
Fun Boy Three - The Lunatics Have Taken Over The Asylum :D
Spandau Ballet - Gold.
The opening credits would involve plenty of slow motion and me punching the air a lot.
Lol already thought about this one...!
It would be a shot of my legs to start with walking along a London street, then the camera would pan up to my face and then up to me looking at a tall building.
The theme tune would be 'Valerie' by Amy Whinehouse and I would have a voiceover over the top and credits appearing at the sides.
I've thought about this too much!!! Lol :o

You imagine this when you're walking to work, don't you?
:o
Well not since I got tired of hearing the song on the radio - only when it first was out! :p

Well there is this old Rave track that is mainly instrumental & during it when it fades here & there this Dude says "Make Way - here comes the Dreamer" & then the Instrumental kicks off again all mental like
The film would be Black & white & include urban scenes & coppice style woods & lanes.
Overall I'd say Ambient & Moody

Terrorvision - Hide the Dead Girl :lipsrsealed:
;)
Seriously a non-vocal version would make a great theme tune. Complete with lots short vignettes of daily life that end with a cheeky freeze frame, A team style.
You've not answered your own question Pheebs :p
Are there any songs that sound like a big fart?
Actually, I have no idea at all what I'd choose. Probably something by Jamiroquai :D

For my Comedy before the water shed show I'd have the Theme tune to the Original Sale of the Century & I'd wear the Ultimate 70's suit & wide tie

Pulp - Disco 2000 mainly because there is a line in there that is quite right.
Or 1985 by Bowling for Soup, as I am sure I am stuck in that year :-D

They would never be allowed to put my life on TV so no there tune would be needed ;D
I would have to wonder if there was ever a song that had the sentiment of, "Looking at your life, we all realise just how ****ed up things can get and are now glad for our own"?
You've not answered your own question Pheebs :p
Chicken PayBack!
Just so I could dance through it all and shake my booty!
Plus it makes me laugh lots :D
My favourite TV theme chooon though would most probably have to be The Cosby Show. Love it. I'd have an intro like that. But much sillier dancing.
Cosby Show?
Yeh... The Cosby Show... that's what I typed...
*giggles and runs off* ;D
mine would be "united states of whatever".
Because it would just be a series of constant arguments, that always end with "whatever" and walking off.
:D

you had woodchip on your walls?? ;)
Yep, we did actually LOL
It's already been done - Everybody Loves Raymond
:D
Everybody Hates Chris. :(
What's really annoying about that is that me and my brother used to take the piss out of each other by saying 'Ah, here's that TV program all about you...' and it would be something really lame. Now there actually is one that he can genuinely use!
