I need some advice peeps. Fashion advice. Blokes, its ok, you can hit backspace now ;)

I have a new skirt...

http://www.dwuk.net/dee/skirt1.jpg

But I dont know what top to wear with it.

I am wearing it to a wedding next week, not as a guest, but as the photographer (shakes head :D). They said it was a very casual affair, and I could wear jeans if I wanted, but I politley told them to naff off ;) I think this is a happy medium, I wont be scruffy, but I wont be over the top, and Ill feel comfortable, and at least Ill look like I almost fit in with the wedding party ;)

So then, what do you all suggest? Black strappy top? White frilly blouse? I am really unsure on this one...

I wouldn't wear spaghetti straps, I'd wear something that covers my shoulders and my fmbs

Nice skirt! :D

I would need a hairdresser to do it, I am rubbish at my own hair :D And that song JUST came on! I was doing air guitar

I might wear something strappy BBx, but then put a cardi over the top? :)

I would wear it with a pale top to match the colours on the print, and with a black shrug in case it got cold.:)

No Knip, I think it's the same thing. Paul Merton once talked about a pair of FMS on Have I got news for you. They were socks ;)

Well then BB posted this
I wouldn't wear spaghetti straps, I'd wear something that covers my shoulders and my fmbs

I dont think the FMBS im thinking of go on your arms? ;D :p

no she meant she'd wear FMB's with the outfit, like

I'd wear something that covers my shoulders, and FMBs. Hence the Burkha comment from me being the 'O sarky' one ;D

Ah ok BLONDE MOMENT!
Must read sentences properly to check for double meanings!
I'll get me coat!

I think I would wear it with a little strappy black top and a shrug like this one (http://www.newlook.co.uk/1437189/143718901/ProductDetails.aspx). I have one in black and one in white, great for having something thats just enough to keep your shoulders covered. When it's on it's also quite in keeping with that 50s idea :)

I'd say a lil black/pink top maybe with cap sleeves and shoes I'd say try some black leather ballet style shoes as they are flat and comfy yet very pretty. :)
