:D
1157: A rather amusing exchange between BBC Radio 5 Live's Holly Samos and Bernie Ecclestone
Holly: "There has been an announcement that the British Grand Prix is moving to Donington."
Ecclestone: "Has there?"
Holly: "Yes, in the media centre. What do you think?"
Ecclestone: "The media centre's a good place to make an announcement."
Oh crap. If people think that Silverstone is lacking the necessary facilities to host an F1 GP then they better be sitting down when they look at Donington - it's a third world country by comparison. I know a lot of money has been spent but they need to spend an awful lot more.
There was a massive amount of money spent on the A43 on the strength of the GP so is Mr. Ecclestone going to give the tax payer a refund for it?
Those issues aside, I'm quite excited even though I can't get free tickets for Donington like I can for Silverstone.
It won't happen, it'd be a useless F1 circuit.
This will pan out exactly the same as when Brands Hatch won the contract for the British GP a few years back.
ie. it'll stay at Silverstone.
Donny struggles with MotoGP, it's got no chance with F1 :/

See, look how that one panned out :p
Far better way to live life.
See, when it eventually ends up staying at Silverstone, you'll be disappointed, yet i'll just have expected it.
If it does move, then you'll have just been expecting it and i'll be pleasantly surprised.
Either way, being cynical leaves me better off :p
Cynics the lot of you.
Realist tbh.
